Your green goblin mouth was agape at the image you saw reflected back at you. You already knew you were a goblin but looking at your reflection up close startled you as far as how hideous you were. You teeth were yellow and brown, at least what teeth you had, it seemed about half of them were broken or knocked out. On different parts of your body you could see some nasty battle scars with the worst being on your right arm, right leg, and gut. Seeing these scars gave you an odd sense of deja vu and then you remembered. The scars you currently had on your goblin body were in the exact same places as the injuries you'd inflicted on the goblins you killed. Remembering the evil glow of the cursed bracelet helped you put 2 and 2 together quickly. At least you still seemed to have your normal intelligence.
You sat in your underground festering pool thinking what to do next. If you were right and the cursed bracelet turned you into whoever or whatever you killed, the only way you'd ever be human again is if you killed one. Something you'd never set out doing, after all you fancied yourself a hero and heros don't kill humans for personal gain. But then again you'd never been in a position like you were now.
But then you thought that you didn't have to kill humans, you could do what you always did and kill beasts and monsters. Your little bracelet would add a whole new level of adventure to your journey. And in your current puny goblin form, not many creatures would see you as a threat making it even easier to kill them than when you were human. Pondering on what to do next, you realized your decision might have been made for you as you heard steps outside of your hole, you poked your green head out to see who or what could be your potential prey.
