You return to the inn where you and your teacher were staying while in the city to rest for the night. This was a draining experience, but you weren't as worried as Minerva herself would be, were she in control. You needed to find a way back into your body. Surely, the spellbook would have a way of reversing this. Tomorrow you can track down both.
When you enter tavern, the innkeeper hands you two letters. You open the first one.
"Dear Minerva the Blue,
We regret to inform you that your companion was found, deceased, on market street this afternoon. Please come down to the morgue tomorrow at noon.
Deepest Apologies,
Jake Nilbog"
You release a sigh of relief. That takes care of your body, and with any luck, all of your belongings, too. With that weight lifted, you tear open the second letter.
"Minerva the Blue
Report back to the tower immediately. We're extremely disappointed that you allowed harm to befall your student while under your watch. Your punishment will be decided after you stand trial.
High Wizard Cage"
And that takes your breath away. If you didn't get back in your body somehow, not only would you be dead, Minerva would be in trouble for it. You returned to the room for the night.
