Alan anxiously held a cooler in paw while waiting at the arboretum gate for Alice. He arrived right on time but she was no where to be found. He grew worried thinking something happened or she stood him up. Alan shook this head getting the crude thoughts out of his head. If something were to happen, Alice would call. Besides, she wasn't the type of girl who would stand someone up, even with her shyness.
"Hey, Alan!" Alan's ears perked to see a young slender wolf girl walking up to him. "Hi Alice!"
"Sorry, I'm a bit late. I got a little lost trying to find the place."
Alan waved his paw dismissively. "Don't worry about it. At least you made it." He then curled his arm in a loop in front of Alice. "Shall we go?" Alice giggled and grab hold of his muscular arm.
It was getting pretty late, but that wasn't gonna stop them from having a wonderful time. Plus it didn't take them long to find a good spot underneath a few trees neither. The female sat patiently in front of her favorite wolf, watching as he was tending to his cooler. "So, what did you bring?"
"Not too much, but nothing too sugary either." Alan pulls out a club sandwich with an olive that was stabbed with a toothpick and hands it over to Alice, "Care for a club sandwich? It's tuna."
Alice grabs the sandwich, "Thanks. It's fine." Alice takes a small, but quick bite of her piece. Alan also pulls out his own sandwich, which was filled with ham instead of tuna. The female wolf suddenly overheas a large chomping noise. Turns out to have come from the big muscular wolf. Turns out Alan has been stuffing his face, as if he was hungry all day. She never really saw the big guy like this before, but she didn't mind, letting out a small chuckle. "Heheh."
Alan takes a big gulp. "Hm? What?"
Alice holds up a napkin to Alan, wiping off some of the mess off his maw. "You're so cute when you engorge yourself."
The big wolf blushes. "Uh... Um, heh..." Alice backs away a bit. "Sorry. Guess I was hungier than I thought."
"It's okay. I said it was cute, didn't I?" That makes the proud wolf blush once again, a little more than before. Alice takes a look out at the soon-to-be night sky, letting the sunset in front of them sink in. She sighs, "Just look at that sunset. Ooh, and it looks like it's going to be a full moon tonight too."
"Yeah..." Alan's ears perked up, "Fu-full moon?!" Alan looked out into the sky. he didn't know what would happen if he was caught out in a full moon. would he grow bigger? would it be painful like last time? Alice had a confused look on her face. "Are you alright Alan? you look a little scared, is something wrong?" Alan looked at Alice and shook his head and remained quiet for a moment before talking. "No i'm fine..." There was no way he could tel her that the moon had made him more muscular, could he? would she even believe him? "well... maybe there is something wrong..." he started, his voice getting a little lower. What if he told her, and the moon came up but nothing happened? would she think he was lying? would she end the date and leave? Alice looked him in th eyes. "It's okay... you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.."
Then Alan felt it: the same warmth and pain he felt before he grew the first time. He stood up clunching onto his chest gritting his teeth. Alice followed him in concern. "Alan, are you okay?" Alan looked like he was in pain and Alice didn't know what she could do to help. Through Alan's grunts, Alice could see his shirt and jeans seeming to get smaller against him. His fur grew thicker and his muscles swelled to new peaks. Alice gasped as Alan's arms ruptured the sleeves of his shirt and his legs the seems of the jeans.
Alan could feel great power flowing through him but he felt scared not just for Alice; the power felt overwhelming as if he was going to explode. After what felt a long time, Alan stopped to see his shirt and jeans in tears. He also grew to a new height. He looked down to see a surprised Alice. Alan didn't know what to say or do.
