The gigantic regent of Germany stretched her arms into the air, focusing, then punching. She'd been jogging some time before, looking over her citizens; each gave a bow as she came across, as directed. They always had to be in top condition, on guard in case of an invasion- or, in case Prussia tried to become an independent nation again, and went around crushing random buildings. Germany was determined to set an example to her people, and thus, set up a strict exercise routine. Besides, a ruler had to keep appearances- a shapely ruler would be both intimidating to other women, and able to gain diplomatic advantages.
Her jacket wrapped across her waist, she'd worked up a bit of a sweat, and was about to consider taking a 7-second beer break. When, in an instant, a familiar, irritating screech sounded out across the German land.
"Germany! Hey, GERMANY!"
The pounding of booted feet crashed through the quiet countryside. The land of great poets and thinkers, ruined by this woman's careless treading... From afar, Germany couldn't help but sigh, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Italy, her southern neighbor. With her casual smile, messy hair, and relaxed slouch, it was hard to believe she could be the queen of anything- much less the granddaughter of Rome, the great conqueror. Germany wondered: was there a single nation in Europe who hadn't occupied Italy at one time or another? Even that sissy France had taken her over once.
Buildings that her people had worked so hard to build, turned to ashes... As the queens were finally close enough, she called out again. "Ciao, salve, buongiorno, Germany! I decided to come over for a visit!"
Crossing her arms, the blonde queen stared directly at her. "Italy... You're standing on the marketplace, you dummkopf."
Shocked, Italy looked down at the debris by her boots. She took a step back, panicking, struggling to apologize to the people- before tripping over a building behind her. Her backside made a mighty rumbling as it hit the ground, destroying the homes of dozens.
Silently, Germany marched over to reach for her. If it wasn't one thing with this girl, it was another... Yet, there was some odd charm about her. As she propped the visiting queen up, dusting her off, she stared directly at her.
"What is it, Italy?"
"Ahahaha, it's a funny story- I'm in a biiiit of a financial crisis. It's nothing big, but I thought, hey, maybe I'd take this as an opportunity to have some fun with my best sis, and get some trades going while I'm at it!"
To Germany's shock, she reached into her clothes- and pulled out a bunch of noblemen, shivering, dazed from the journey. Some had even traveled in her boots.
"I even brought a whole bunch of friends! So, whaddya say, huh, Germany? We can have siestas together, eat pasta- it'll be a party!"
