You wake expecting another regular day, entirely unaware what you're going to encounter today. The Sun streams in the window, at just the wrong angle. The alarm clock tells you it is long past your time for getting up.
The room is too bright to drop off again, and there's also the sounds coming from next door. With the back bedroom you manage to escape much of the traffic noise.
Muzzily you realise, that you'd heard something about your new neighbours arriving today. Scratching your head, you go to the window. Pulling on some underpants, you take in the back garden. It's mostly low maintenance lawn, with a few herbs around the borders, giving it a pleasant smell in the summer.
You look jealously over the wall, and see their pool. Your sister mention their name, but it was foreign and hard to remember. Hopefully, they'll have someone you can hang out with.
Your eyes are drawn to a flash of purple near the pool. Instantly your body responds, and you rub your eyes not quite believing what you're seeing. The neighbours have a daughter, and Wow! What a daughter!
She rolls her shoulders, as if relaxing after a long, tense drive. It makes her chest shimmy enticingly.
Instinctively you look downwards, checking that you aren't popping into view. As she starts to walk around the pool, you step further back into the room, and the shadows. But not so far that you lose sight of this vision.
