Jake just got tired of hearing Tom talking about the wand. Did the stupid thing really work? After all, his big brother never could stop talking about it! So, Jake just flicked his wrist, while holding the wand in his right hand, and pointed the tip of the wand straight at his bigger, older brother.
A light blue beam of light then emitted from the tip of the wand and struck Tom in the chest!
“Hey! Whoa! Did… Did you see that?” Jake gasped.
“See what?” Tom asked.
“That light! It came from the wand and struck you in the… OH!” Jake said, as he suddenly noticed the change! Tom’s chest started to push outward more, due to the expanding muscle!
“What? What’s the matter?” Tom asked. Obviously, this time, Tom didn’t notice anything since he wasn’t the one holding the wand.
“Dang! Now I know why you couldn’t stop talking about this thing! It really works!” Jake grinned, as he looked down at the wand, which he was holding in his hand.
“Of course it works! I’ve been using it on you, bro!” Tom grinned, as he spread out his slightly muscular arms.
“I just zapped you with it, and it made you more muscular! Didn’t you notice?” Jake asked Tom.
“No? I’ve always been this way! You’re the one who’s more muscular, little bro!” Tom smiled.
“Am not! I’ve always been muscular!” Jake protested.
“Well, you can’t remember the changed I made to you because the wand alters reality…”
“Oh, really?” Jake pondered. “So… You’d never even notice if I made you bigger?”
“Nope!” Tom responded. “So, can I have my wand back?”
Jake handed the wand back to his slightly-more-muscular-bigger-brother.
“We should go and help out some of our friends who live down the street!” Jake suggested.
“Yeah… That’s an idea!”
“Can we take turns? One day, I’ll go out with the wand, and another day, you go out?” Jake asked.
