Standing outside was Rebekah, a 14-year old girl who went to school with Dan and Sam. They didn't really associate with her, though. The sandy-blonde-haired girl was cute, but shy. And she was very conservative, keeping with the values of her church. Sometimes, Dan wondered what she'd be like if she were more wild and rebellious.
"Hello," she said, holding out a flier. "This Saturday, we're having a special service at my church. Please come and attend. Remember, Jesus loves all."
Dan grabbed the flier, but he knew he wouldn't be attending. Not his scene. "Okay, whatever," he said, sounding maybe a little too dismissive.
This made Rebekah a little ticked off. "Listen, this service might save your eternal soul. You might not want to brush it off so quickly. I wish you'd take this more seriously."
"Oh yeah? Well, I wish you ..." he began, not realizing that what he wished would actually come true!
