Will decided to just ignore the "bug" and let it continue to crawl across the floor. There was no reason for him to get rid of it, since it wasn't really bothering him and he probably wouldn't see it again. So, he just walked out of his room and went to do other things, already starting to forget about the tiny insect he saw earlier.
Josh futilely tried to call for Will to come back and even tried running after him, but quickly got exhausted. He looked up as Will's gargantuan form got farther and farther away and the tremors generated by his footsteps started to fade. Soon, there was silence. Josh was alone, with no one around to help him.
Still, he didn't want to give up. There had to be some way for him to get out of this. He wasn't sure how he'd do it, but he was determined to find a way to get back to normal, or at least get saved. The thought of remaining this size forever was upsetting, but being tiny and safe was better than his life ending. And so, he started thinking about what he wanted to do next.
