Cynthia's Investigation

For a second you hope that this giant with the thunderous footsteps didn't hear you and that she will go on her way. Unfortunately, you can see her shift her feet from side to side as she looks around the room for the tiny shriek she heard. She pauses for a moment before she suddenly drops down and checks under the bed. You leap into the darkness, holding your breath in suspense.

The giant's head blots out most of the light but you can still make out her features. She has very long blonde hair, nestled with two black decorations on each side of her head. Her skin is very fair and she has bright blue eyes that seem to spark with curiosity. They scan through the darkness and you freeze on the spot, hoping that you are too small to be found in the shade.

Her eyes seem to brighten up even more as they focus on you. "Hm, what's that?"

Your body automatically panics from the giant predator and your legs begin to move (even though there is nowhere to flee to) but already the giant has stretched out her huge hand, fingers spread wide and descending over you. The rest of your body catches up and you turn around, but you meet a wall of flesh and her cupped hand scoops you out into the light of the enormous room. Her face looms over you, curious yet intimidating, and her blue eyes seem to narrow at the strange thing she has found under the bed.

You have the following choices:

1. "O-Oh my! Who... are you?"

2. "...Ugh, what a strange bug."
