As Sonic got himself up, he said, "Tails, for the first time, I have to ask what the hell did you do to us?!" "I'm not sure Sonic," Tails said. "Well whatever it was," Sonic said, "It made me hungry for rings." Sonic took out a golden ring and absorbed it like he did in his first life. Only this time, he wanted another. He grabbed five more rings and absorbed them as well. "That's better," Sonic said, "Kinda." He looked back at Tails and saw that he had a ghastly face aimed at Sonic. "What?" Sonic said. Tails kept looking at him horrificly.
