This choice: Ms. Smith, she needs to go over the paper work... • Go Back...Chapter #7Ms. Smith, she needs to go over the paper work... by: Jr.Freak   The joy of seeing Tionishia not only made Yuuta's heart race, but it made him a little jittery. Ever since he was a kid, Yuuta had always had difficulties makeing friends, and when his parents moved to the Demi-Human Reservation, he knew he would struggle again. Yuuta never knew why he was such a shy person and he always hated that part of himself. That feeling of loneliness had always been to much to much to bear, but one little ogre had some how changed all of that. As soon as Tio came into his life, Yuuta was able to come out of the shadow's and was never alone again. Tio gave him the push he need to make friends and she was their to help him find the happiness he always wanted.
From that moment on, Yuuta promised himself he would do everything he could to stay in the light, but that promise was tested the day he had to leave the Reservation. He was only a kid back than, only 13 years old, and he was told that he would have to leave. Of cours Yuuta didn't want to leave, he wanted to be with Tio and his friends, but eveyrone reminded him that not many people were given a chance to attend Harvard (especially his age or for free). Yuuta was determine to turn down the offer and stay at the Reservation, but it was Tio who convinced him to leave and follow his dream of becoming a Doctor. Yuuta knew that Tio was right and that deep down he wanted this, he wanted to become a doctor, but he still didn't want to leave.
Eventually, Yuuta made up his mind and took the scholarship, and it broke his heart to leave. Despite the distance, Yuuta was able to stay in touch with his friends and thanks to them he was able to make new friends. Achivments followed Yuuta almost everywhere he went and while they made him happy, nothing could ever compare to this moment. The words were right there at the tip of his tongue. He wanted to so desperately tell Tio how much he missed her, how wonderful she looked and that he-

*RING*
*RING*
The phone that was ringing was coming from Ms. Smith and she seemed more interested in Tio and Yuuta than her phone. A casual glance from Yuuta, Tio, Zombina, and Dr. Quess made her role her eyes in annoyance and answer her cell. "Good news Tio, the moving truck is pulling up now. Zombina, help me and the movers get her stuff, while Yuuta shows Tio around"
Zombina showed signs of protesting, but she was suddenly pulled along by the Queen Slime, leaving Tio and Yuuta alone. Yuuta was able to regain control of himself, calming his nerves the best he could, and began to show Tio around the clinic. Tio was surprised by how spacious the building was and was told by Yuuta that he had it designed with the intentions of helping everyone (human & demi-human alike) in need.
"And I hope that what were doing here will somehow reverberate into the rest of the world, and somehow bridge that gab between Humans & Demi-Humans" Yuuta said as he and Tio walked side by side. When looked at Tio she was so proud to see that he had devoted his life to not only helping humans but demi-humans as well. "This is amazing Yuuta and I'm so proud of you!" Tio said as she stepped closer to Yuuta, being as gentle as possible, and nudge him with her hip.
"You are finally living your dream! You haven't changed a bit" the force of Tio hip nudge was strong enough to slam Yuuta into the wall, but that didn't hurt to much to the thought of Tio thinking he was still a kid. Despite their height differnce as kids, Tio was actually older than Yuuta, five years older in fact. The age differnce never bothered him, he just never wanted to be viewed as a child by her (or anyone really). Yuuta quickly pulled himself out of the wall and caught up to Tio, who just stopped out side a large room that had cribs, rocking chairs, and odd machine that Tio had never seen before. She quickly glanced at the door leading into the room and read the sign 'Nursing Room'. Tio's eyes shinned brightly with enthusiasm as held her hands close to her chest and looked down at Yuuta saying "Do mommy's and baby's come here!"
Yuuta couldn't help but chuckle "Of course, I've had a run in with a few deliveries here at the clinic, but this room is meant for mothers that require help with nursing" Yuuta made a gesture to a a few pictures hanging on a bulletin board hanging in the room. Tio peered through the glass and saw that their were three photos pinned to the board and that each of them was a picture of a demi-human baby. Tip nearly squealed at the sight of the babies and then wondered what it would be like if she were a mother. Again, her cheeks flushed as the thought of having a child and then she thought about what it would be like to have a child with Yuuta.
Yuuta was having a similar thought and was only able to pull himself from his fantasy when he heard Zombina and some one else complain about moving such a massive bed frame. "Why don't I show you your room, before we get in someone's way"
"Right" Tio said, wondering if she should be helping with the moving. Yuuta led Tio up the largest set of stairs she had seen before, but before marching up the steps, Tio saw what looked like a lift beside the stair case. She found that odd but decided not to question it, happy that her belongings would not be hauled up the stairs.
Once she was on the second floor, of the three story building, she was impressed by the layout and its open concept. The second floor was a simple and elegant layout for a living room setting and Tio loved how polished and new the kitchen area was. Tio then saw the bathinroom and washrooms and was pleased to see that it had been built with her stature in mind, Tio even thought the tube could hold nearly twelves ogres and two oni's. There were three bed rooms on the second floor and Yuuta explained that there were actually five more rooms upstairs.
"Why so many rooms?" Tio asked, hoping that she would be given one of the rooms on the second floor instead of the third. "Well from time to time a staff member may need to stay over night and need a place to sleep, but also..." Yuuta trailed off as he walked towards the kitchen, standing near the island, while scratching the back of his head.
"Also what?" Tio asked as Tio heard steps coming from the stairs...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
