Although Rachel is a real down-to-earth type person to her parents and everyone at school, she has been a real bitch toward Eric since being in high school. It had all started years ago, and what caused her to single out Eric, he never really knew. Yeah, he had teased her like all little brothers do, but at some point she just went whacko with him and has been putting him down ever since.
So it was no surprise when Rachel walked in and started to bully Eric about something. Eric didn't even pay attention to her. He was already holding the necklace and instantly began to swing the necklace in front of him knowing exactly what he was going to do to her.
"Eric, you twerp. You're going to pay for ... this ...," she began but suddenly stopped and just stared.
A soft light seemed to be coming from the pendant as it swung, and the beam streaked slowly back-and-forth across her face. Her angry expression softened and was now just emotionless and trance-like. Surprised by the quickness of the result, Eric still sat facing her waiting and pondering. Then he smirked as he realized that he was now in control and could continue with his plan.
