One of Jake's friends walks up to him from ...

Jake turned around and saw his friend Justin from down the street! Obviously, Justin stared at him with his jaw open wide when he saw how incredibly muscular Jake had become.

"Holy smoke! Jake? Is that you?" the boy said, as he examined the muscle kid from head to toe. "Good Lord!"

"Hey, Justin! What's up, dude?" Jake replied, at first just acting like everything was normal.

"Doing good, man. I'm just peachy! But..,. I just can't take my eyes off of YOU! Good grief! Look at those muscles!" Justin gasped. "Are those for real?"

"What? You mean, my muscles?" Jake wondered, as he turned around to face Justin.

"Last time I saw you, you were a skinny dude! Now, you're a total hunk!" Justin laughed, as he reached out with his right hand and rubbed his fingers over Jake's bulging bicep. "I mean, your muscles are as hard as rocks!"

"Ohh... Dude, it's a long story! I really don't know for sure if I've been blessed... Or cursed..." Jake sighed.

"Why?"

"I was on the beach today and I heard this voice coming from the sky! The voice said that the muscle gods were making me grow until I had the strength of a thousand men!" Jake explained. Justin's jaw dropped wide open.

"A thousand men??? Holy crap!" he shouted. "You'll have superhuman strength!"

Jake considered what Justin just said. He wasn't far from the truth.
