After thinking for a bit about whose name to write down, the image of one particular girl popped into your head. Yuki Nagato, the data humanoid interface. Nagato was one of your favorite characters when you watched the Haruhi anime. Her calm almost emotionless demeanor made her stand out from the rest of the cast. While everyone else was up moving around, she would always be content to just sit in the corner of the room and read her book. She also had this air of mystery about her, and behind that she had a cute side that she kept hidden from the world. You knew you had to meet her, even if the circumstances behind it forced you to fight her.
Without hesitation, you wrote down her name and handed the form to the old man before walking toward the nearby door.
"Ah, her. So you think you can take her on? Well, good luck sonny. You'll be needing it." The old man said just as you passed the door.
You didn't hear him, however, as you were too focused on the fact that you were about to meet Yuki Nagato for real.
As you entered the room, the door shut and locked behind you, leaving you trapped in a virtually empty room with nothing but a large wrestling mat in the center and another door on the opposite side. When you walked toward the mat, the other door opened and your opponent walked in. And there she was: Yuki Nagato, in the flesh, standing right before your eyes. She was wearing her school uniform like usual, and to your surprise she was actually wearing her glasses. This pleased you, as you always thought she looked much cuter with them, and you were disappointed when they were destroyed in her battle with Ryoko Asakura.
As Nagato approached you, she took off her shoes and socks, and placed them carefully to the side of the mat. You couldn't help but look down at her bare feet and think how cute they looked. Standing right in front of you, Nagato bowed politely and greeted you.
"Hello." She said simply.
"Um, hi..." You replied nervously, not knowing how to properly respond to such a cute girl.
"From what I understand, you wish to fight me. Is this correct?" Nagato asked, cutting straight to the point.
Nervously you nodded your head without saying a word.
"Very well. Please know that I will not hold back." Nagato said.
"O-of course not! It wouldn't be a fair fight if you didn't give it your all!" You replied.
This time Nagato was the one to nod without speaking.
You got into a fighting stance and focused all attention on Nagato. You were prepared for her to attack you immediately, but to your surprise she did nothing of the sort. She simply stood there, staring at you. Then, suddenly, her lips began to move as though she were chanting one of her "spells". You didn't know what she was going to do, so you simply braced yourself and hoped for the best.
Soon Nagato stopped her chanting, and you were left to watch as her body started to glow. After a few seconds the glow faded away, and as soon as it faded she charged at you. You quickly put your hands up in an attempt to defend against her blow, but what hit you was something that you could never have prepared for. Nagato lashed out with a ferocious punch, and it hit you with so much force that you were sent flying across the room. As you felt your back crashing into the wall, the breath immediately left your lungs.
Gasping for air, you could only watch as Nagato slowly walked toward you. As she stood right in front of you, she reached down and grabbed you by the throat, lifting you into the air with only one arm. She then threw you across the room so that you landed back onto the wrestling mat. This time, rather than walking toward you, Nagato leaped into the air and came crashing down on you feet first, once again knocking the air out of you.
You didn't understand what was going on here. Something was definitely not right here.
"How... How are you so strong?! And more importantly, how am I still alive?! I should be dead by now with how hard you hit me!" You asked.
"I modified the space within this room to be more advantageous to me. Within this space my physical strength is infinite, and you are immortal. This way I can go all out against you without worrying about killing you by accident."
"B-but that's cheating!"
"Incorrect. The only rule for these fights is that I must only use my body and the natural abilities it possesses. I am not using my powers to fight you, only to augment my own body. Ergo, I am within the rules."
You breathed a sigh of defeat as you realized that Nagato was right. It may be a loophole in the rules, but she technically was within the rules. And with her body's physical strength magnified to infinity, you couldn't beat her. It was a simple fact. Someone with limited strength can't defeat someone with unlimited strength. Knowing that, you gave up trying to resist her and allowed Nagato to have her way with you.
