Meitnerium could only watch as her craft landed inside a large body of water. Luckily, she managed to escape her craft instead of going down with it and broke the surface, taking in the air and praying that her half-remembered lessons on the hick Milky Way galaxy mentioned something about breathable air for her species.

Again, fortune was on her side. She didn't die.

So, she continued on, making her way to shore and noticing some of those...what where they called again....oh yeah, Earthlings!

They looked about as redneck as a member of the universe could, what with their tiny garments covering their bodies and the odd devices placed under them.

Meitnerium was certain she'd die here.

Not from any physical injury but pure boredom.

She heard a lot of the Earthlings gasp at the sight of her and one approached.

She expected the typical groveling, the usual response from the more civilized sectors once they saw someone of her species, but what she got instead was a hesitant touch followed by an exclamation.

"Dude..."

Yes, Meitnerium decided, she was in hell stuck with a redneck named Dude...
