This choice: You're working this morning, and you need to get moving! • Go Back...Chapter #8You need to get moving! by: Crocko A less-than-quiet expletive escapes you as you confirm that you're working today. You have no idea why you set your alarm so late last night, but now, you've only got a few short minutes to get dressed and go. As you struggle to force a pair of loose black pants over a double-diaper that's a few inches shy of brushing between your knees, you start to comprehend the scale of the problem you've made for yourself - you're wearing a huge, smelly undergarment, you're not going to be able to get it changed until you get to work, and even that's not guaranteed. What if someone pulls you away for something as soon as you get in? What if it starts leaking before you can change it? All sorts of worst-case scenarios like these rush through your mind as you button your jacket up hurriedly and swipe a canister of air freshener from atop your closet, giving it plenty of hurried sprays over the room and yourself, before rifling through your handbag and coating yourself in a good deal of perfume for good measure. That should at least stop you from stinking up whatever room you're in, but there's really no hiding the thick, bulging outline of your padding under your pants. Most of your colleagues know about your diapers at this point, but it's still far from proper to walk into work in this state, incontinent or not... unfortunately, though, it's a choice you can't go back on right now.
After throwing on a long, hip-concealing coat for good measure, you manage to half-jog, half-stumble out of your apartment building's entrance, struggling to keep proper balance with the swinging weight between your legs. An urgent waddle brings you to the side of the road, which you reach just in time to see the small, minivan-like bus that takes you to work turning the corner at the end of your street, coming your way. The knowledge that you're not about to be late gives you a sliver of relief, but you're still mortified that you're even outside like this, let alone going to work... the feeling of your still-warm overnight mess smushing up against your rear as you shift your weight from side to side doesn't help you calm down, either, although it does, at least, feel comfortable.
You remind yourself of your quickly-formulated plan as the small bus rolls to a halt in front of you. You're going to get to work, get to the bathroom as quickly as you can waddle, and get yourself cleaned before anything can stop you. There's no way you could endure an entire day in this mess - to say nothing of what your colleagues would think of it..! You gently pull the side door of the van-like vehicle open, glancing inside to see if you're going to need to conceal your bulging behind from any potential passengers... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
