"I choose..." you said, pondering your decision. You then looked at Rarity. "What's your name, miss?" you asked, not wanting to scare her by showing that you knew her name.
"Rarity," she said courteously. "A pleasure to meet you, Thomas. So, you'll be staying with me then?" You nodded with a smile. "Splendid!" she said before turning to Twilight. "I suppose it's settled, darling."
Rainbow Dash still looked very unhappy, but by then, everypony stopped paying her any mind.
"I think it'll be best if I teleport you two to Carousel Boutique. We don't want to raise a panic," said Twilight. "Can you stand, Thomas?"
You got out from under the covers and planted your bare feet on the ground. "Yeah, I'm good," you tell her.
“Not to be rude, but… don’t you get very hot with all those clothes on?” Fluttershy asked.
“Well, I don’t have fur, so I kinda have to wear clothes to keep myself warm.”
“Ah… fascinating.”
“Stand next to Rarity, please,” Twilight requested, and you obliged, taking your position next to the white unicorn.
“Good, now just hold still while I charge up the spell. I’m still getting used to this alicorn magic, so bear with me here.”
“I’d be careful around that thing if I were you,” Rainbow Dash warned.
“Oh, pshaw, darling. He’s harmless!” Rarity said with a dismissive wave as she wrapped an arm around yours. She was so close to you that you picked up on the lavender scent of her coat.
“Okay. Ready, you two?” the alicorn asked. You and Rarity nodded your heads, giving her the go-ahead, and she fired a beam of charged magic at you, instantly teleporting you to Rarity’s home.
“I was expecting that to hurt a little,” you said, clutching your stomach out of instinct.
“It’s always scary the first time, Thomas,” the unicorn giggled. “By the way, welcome to Carousel Boutique!”
“Wow… It’s nicer than I imagined.” you thought.
“Now, let me show you to your room, darling,” Rarity said, leading you up the stairs and down the hall to the guest room. “The bathroom is at the end of the hall, and my room is right here across the hall, so if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to ask, okay?”
You nodded. “Okay. Thanks again for letting me stay here, Rarity.”
“Oh, it’s no trouble, Thomas,” she chuckled lightly, eyeing your clothes. “Is that the only ensemble you have, dear?”
“Unfortunately, yes.”
“Well, we can’t have that, How about I get your measurements first thing tomorrow morning and get to work on some extra clothes for you.”
“Are you sure about that?” you asked cautiously. “I wouldn’t want to impose.”
“Oh, it’s no imposition, I assure you,” she insisted. “I’m simply giving my guest the proper accommodations. Rainbow Dash may think that you’re some foreign ruffian, but I don’t see that at all.”
“Thanks for that,” you smiled. “It’s nice to know that there’s somepony here that trusts me.”
“Already adapting to our vernacular, I see. You’ll get used to living here in no time,” Rarity said as she walked into your new room, opening the curtains to reveal the night sky. “Oh my. It’s getting rather late. We must be getting to bed.” She turned around and gave you a smile, her soft tail brushing your arm as she passed you by. “Goodnight, darling. See you in the morning.”
You blushed and cleared your throat. “G-goodnight, Rarity…”
