"Good Morning, Ms. Frizzle," The whole class responded as she had their undivided attention, even from those who were too busy to look at Ash before.

"I hope you all have had a good rest and have bright faces, for today we get to learn about our wonderful world through science!" Ms. Frizzle, as he had come to learn, continued to explain as she moved eccentrically in front of the classroom. Immediately she spotted Ash as she literally jumped in front of him. "Ah, you must be the newcomer, welcome to our humble adobe!"

"Yes, indeed I am!" Ash played along with the rouse as Ms. Frizzle invaded his personal space. He had to admit though, she was a very fine lady. She seemed nice, and well...she did look good, however, he couldn't get ahead-he really couldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Good!," clapping her hands together, "I see you got well acquainted with the class already."

"Sure did," Ralphie said.

"Quite exemplary if I may say," D.A added.

"Excellent, you'll be a fine addition to my class, young...."

"Ash."

"Ash, hmmmmm odd name, but as science has proved, odd things are the basis of discovery!"

"Good to know," Ash gulped in relief as he was interrupted once more by the Redheaded Fritz.

"Now class today's lesson involves much difference from the usual view of your regular everyday basis!"

"Oh no," groaned Arnold, but Ash just ignored it.

"What do you mean by that, Ms. Frizzle?" Keesha asked.

"Well, think about it. At your current state, you think of all the things accustomed to your liking and to your proportions, but what if it were different?" This intrigued the class as most of them seemed excited to find out what their teacher was trying to imply.

"Meaning?" Wanda asked.

"Proportion, obviously," Tim added.

"Right you are Tim, and with proportion comes perspective, and perspective can change your whole view of the world." Ms Frizzle added as a twinkle appeared in her eye. She winked at her lizard as it was busy rummaging behind the desk, looking for something.

"So by changing our perspective, we would see everything else differently?" Wanda continued.

"Exactly!"

"But according to my research, that's scientifically impossible. Perspective, or even proportions, of a person can't be changed," D.A added, "Even if you wanted to."

"Never say never Dorothy Ann," Ms. Frizzle interjected as her lizard found a strange gun/antenna device and launched at her hands.

"Does this mean?" Ralphie asked eagerly.

"It's time to take chances," she said her oh so famous line as she twirled the device around, "make mistakes and get messy!"

Everyone cheered, as Ash looked confused and excited, while Arnold seemed scared.

"Aren't you excited?" Phoebe asked Ash.

"Why?" Ash seemed more confused.

"Because we're going on a field trip!"

"What now?"

"Yeah," Phoebe said with an almost, duh, effect in her voice.

"But how?"

"Well with Ms. Frizzle's Porta-shrinker of course!"

"Wait what?" Ash was about to ask even more, as he was cut off by the Frizzle.

"Now...how to go around about this?" She said as her class was in front of her.
