Chapter #6

Spend the night at camp for a midnight feast

    by: Anothergamer Author IconMail Icon
It wasn't much of a choice for the scrawny blue puppy- the pile of food was almost singing to him. Each bite so far had been mind-boggling, what was a few more?

Hours passed, the sun dipping lower in the sky as he tore through puff after puff- he was barely aware of the world around him until his gut began to ache. He paused , wiping sweat from his brow, sighing as he idly stroked his engorged gut. The Poochyena, for his part, had taken to sipping on a keg of the aforementioned berry juice. a long straw protruding from it. As the night approached and the ambient noise of the forest receded, Riolu picked up a third Pokemon, close by. His ears perked up as his eyes narrowed on the closed tent.

"Someone in there?", he asked, rising slowly, staggering from the weight settling in his belly.

"Yup. Pikachu, master's first ever Pokemon! He doesn't come out of the tent very often, and... I like it that way. He's a bit mean. Eats all my Puffs.", the quadruped explained, licking his lips again before hauling himself up to his feet.

"I'm like, stuffed. You can finish my juice tonight, since you need to get cozy. Careful, though. Grumpig tells me it speeds up your meta... meta...", he trailed off again, turning his lumbering body back to the tent, zipping it shut with his mouth, leaving Riolu alone beside the crackling fire.

"... right...", he said to thin air, moving to the keg. It's heavy on its own, but Poochyena had, thankfully, mostly drained it of juice. Riolu barely managed to drag it beside his own bowl of Poke-puffs. The pile was still easily three times as high as the bowl itself, despite his rampant binging. Dusting off his paws, he grabbed the straw and began drinking.
Riolu had never been very familiar with the taste of the various berries- Machoke had seen to that- but this was head and shoulders above anything. More refreshing than cool water on a fresh day, almost as sweet as the berries... before he knew it, he had chugged away most of the remaining juice, stopping only when his mad gulping produced no more nectar to gulp back. He sighed again, blissfully unaware of the fat beginning to form from his feasts- a little round the belly, a bit more roundness to his cheeks.

He was distracted, mostly, by the sheer, sudden and overwhelming increase to his appetite. The fullness from before was gone, replaced by the dull beginnings of hunger. Riolu turned to his pile of Poke-puffs, eyes wide in delight.

What followed was a blur. There was sweetness, yes, and there was munching and gulping. The fire flickered out at some stage, leaving him alone in the cold and dark with nothing but his bowl to comfort him. He didn't notice, or care. Each mouthful exceeded the last, until finally, he pawed the bottom at the bowl, letting out a whine as he realised his situation- his gut ached now the distraction was gone, his body was chilled, and his jaw was sore from what must have been hours of mad munching.

He rubs his gut idly, rising to enter his tent...

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. When Grumpig appears!

*Noteb*
2. Before he proceeds to sleep and rise for a massive breakfast.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
