You can transmit a signal which disrupts all power in the area, turning off everything electrical within a ten mile radius. On a shorter range, you can also turn off mutant powers. As a result of your powers, you are invisible to Cerebro, so the Professor has not yet found you. You went to a normal school and lived a normal life. Then, in a single day, everything changed. An anti mutant rally turned into a battle between the humans and the mutants. Without meaning to, you blocked a lot of the mutants powers, causing them to be overwhelmed. You decided that the best way to help your fellow mutants was to leave town. You couldn't control your powers, so you couldn't turn them off. You left town and made your way to the docks a few towns away. The mutant-human conflict hadn't spread this far yet. You stole a rowing boat and rowed out to an island in the center of the bay. After landing on the island, you let the boat be carried back to the shore on the retreating tide. You then went off to explore the island. A few hours later, you heard a fierce bubbling sound and something shot out of a large, hill with a hole in the top. It was then you realised it was a volcano. As the strange thing shot towards you, it landed next to you, then suddenly, changed. "We need help" she said "I've heard of a place mutants can live in peace, would you like to go there with me?" "Yes" you say "My name's Nathan by the way" "Amara" she replied "Lets go"
