Cindy's eyes had been glazed over, as if she was hypnotized, since the machine first started working. Now they widened, although they still didn't seem to be looking at anything in particular.
She sucked in a very deep breath, an act which was particularly eyecatching because of her new, expanded bosom. The zipper on her jumpsuit finally gave in to the strain, unzipping almost down to her navel. Then she exhaled, relaxing into a new, better posture, with squared shoulders and breasts held up proudly.
Blinking several times, she almost seemed to recover from whatever held her mind captive, then visibly trembled, almost as if she was experience an electric shock.
Finally, the voice from the box announced. "Subject mentality now properly adjusted for selected function."
"What the hell does 'properly adjusted' mean?" Liz demanded as Cindy blinked and shook her head. "Properly adjusted how?"
To everyone's surprise, the voice actually answered her question. "Subject is now ready to provide..."
