For some reason, the observers found this even harder to believe than the alterations to Cindy herself. The orange jumpsuit's hems crawled up Cindy's arms and legs, the fabric and the color changing as it did so. The flip-flops that were on her feet suddenly grew to enclose them, the material extending up her legs to just above the knees. Finally, somewhat improbably, a thick bracelet appeared on Cindy's right wrist, earrings now dangled from her earlobes, and a necklace appeared that was long enough to place a pendant just below her breasts.
The orange jumpsuit had become a low-cut white crop top and a striped blue miniskirt, which met at a metal ring over her abdomen; she also now wore black latex knee-high boots with heels a few inches high.
Rae said, "That outfit looks --"
The voice said, "Transformation complete."
"Wow!" exclaimed Rae, as the metal cap withdrew from Cindy's head and retracted through the rippling "solid" exterior back into the machine.
Cindy blinked her brightly painted eyelids a couple of times, her impossibly long, thick, and dark eyelashes fluttering.
She started to stand up, looking wobbly, and Dr. Wills rushed over to help.
Rae quickly said, "That outfit looks like something Julia Roberts wore in 'Pretty Woman,'" as if afraid she'd be interrupted by the machine again.
"Hey, yeah!" exclaimed Liz. "Except she had a short blonde wig in the movie. And Cindy's got more boobage than Julia now. Almost as much as me!"
"Huh?" Cindy mumbled, and then looked down at herself. "Oh, my God!" she exclaimed. She brought up her hands as if to gingerly touch her enlarged breasts, but seemed to be taken aback by her fingernails, which were now about an inch long and manicured with white tips. "Oh, my God!" she exclaimed again.
"Cindy, you're totally hot now," proclaimed Liz. "Looks like the guys agree."
Brett and Jay were staring. Jay's mouth was open a little bit. Brett managed to tear his eyes away from Cindy to say, "Sorry, what?"
"I think that answers that question," Dr. Wills said with a smirk.
"Ooh, can I try next?" asked Liz.
"Aw, you're already hot," Rae complained.
Brett had apparently recovered and was able to think with the brain in his head once again. "I'm not certain we know the full extent of Cindy's transformation yet. Perhaps the doctor needs to study her in more detail first."
Dr. Wills said, "Hey, who's in charge here?...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
