Jack spotted an abandoned taxi cab sitting just a few feet ahead of him. He recognized it as one of the taxi's that roamed the streets of the city. Jack remembered the times when he had to take a cab during the day. He approached the vehicle cautiously, his shotgun at the ready. Peering through the windows, he was relieved to find it was empty. He opened the drivers side door and slipped into the drivers seat.
The taxi had a small CB radio mounted on the dashboard. Jack managed to find the keys in the glove compartment. Turning the key in the ignition, the engine managed to start. "Thank god."
