Won big... kinda...

"Damn..." Kenji groaned as he stepped away from the machine to engage the approaching zombies. He triped the woman with a foot sweep and crushed her head with a stomp as he delivered a blow that knocked the security guard backwards. The man's ribs cracked as he stumbled into the tourist and both fell back down the stairs. "So much for them... now I've got to hurry up and set off this jackpot, I don't have much money left..." With that Kenji quickly made his way back over to the machine as the other zombies began to investigate the noise coming from the two injured ones wiggling about on the bottom of the steps. "No... hurry... hurry..." Kenji whispered as he softly banged his fist on the machine. Another failure. Kenji was just about to take another spin when he noticed that more of the zombies were approaching the stairs... more than he could deal with by himself. "No, this might be my last chance... please..." Kenji begged as he turned the lever one last time and ran back around in the direction he had come from.

If the machine hit a jackpot he might be able to get outside, but if it didn't he'd have to retreat back upstairs for now. Kenji held his breath as he prepared to run for either the front doors or the stairs to the second floor. A loud ringing sound echoed as lights flashed and coins started erupting from a large slot on the massive machine. Kenji had triggered the $5000 prize. "Yes! Thank you..." Kenji whispered as the horde continued to lumber towards the loud distraction. When only a few stragglers remained Kenji made a mad dash for the exit, shoving aside the few remaining undead that got in his way. One last fat man tried to block off the door and grab Kenji, but the young martial artist was too quick for the shambling corpse. Once outside he began running down the road away from his temporary prison as fast as he could. Finally, he came across Paradise Park, Rustones biggest and most beautiful outdoor park, at the end of the street.
