There's An App For That

Laura was wondering how to name her new power. She had her idea, but wasn't sure about the exact name. Eventually, she decided to type something, and maybe change it later : "Adapting Alpha Human".

Under this weird name was an idea she had discovered reading a comic : a character could adapt itself to any situation and threat he was facing, his body changing each time differently to adapt. Laura had thought "It would be great to have a power just like this for everyday life !". Like, if someone was bullying her, she would become taller. Trying to push her around ? She would become stronger. Seduce the boy she wanted ? She'd become sexier... and always be the Alpha Girl around !

Still, she didn't want people to freak out and finish in some lab with scientists cutting her in pieces. No, she didn't want her body to change back to her scrawny one each time. Hell, why ? That was what she found stupid in the original power : why return to your original body if it is weaker ? No, she'd keep it. And she'd change slowly so people wouldn't freak out, but at least quick enough to feel the taste of revenge soon after facing a problem. She began typing.



"This power gives to the owner the ability to adapt so he'll always be, in any group, the Alpha, being better and more impressive than the other members a long way. The power is always active, and anytime it detects someone having something better than the owner, the owner within a few days or weeks change to become way better than the person detected in the relevant way. I.E : If the owner crosses someone cuter than he is, he'll turner even cuter in no time. If the owner is in a room with someone taller than he is, within a few weeks, he'll tower above the person. This power also works when the owner needs it, meaning that if the owner tries to do something, I.E, lifting some weight, his body will adapt, so, soon after, he can lift the precedent weight like it was nothing, even if he only tried once several weeks before. Also, the power detects when someone is making fun of the owner to adapt his body until the person can't make fun of the owner in the relevant domain anymore. I.E : if someone says the owner will never be as tall as something or someone, the owner will soon become taller than something or someone.

To say it simple : anytime the owner of this power isn't good enough for something or someone, he quickly changes until he becomes the best in this thing. Meaning he'll always be the Alpha, whatever he does and whoever he crosses."

She read it, unchecked the box "Share it with the community" as she wasn't sure of what could happen if someone else had this power. And clicked "Save."

She felt her body being warmer for a few seconds, and then, it cooled down. It had worked ? Or so she hoped ! She would probably know soon : with Vanessa and Greg around, she would probably feel something the next time she would cross them. And maybe she'd gain enough size, muscles and breasts to make it so she'd be, at last, the family most impressive child !
