"Well, I start my shift at the gym at 4, if you want to come." Greg offered. "I could give you some one-on-one advice."
That was a generous offer and Laura was genuinely touched. Though her siblings had always outclassed her physically, they had never been rude to her and they were a loving family.
"Thanks, G. I really appreciate it." Laura said with a smile. "I'll see you there. Now get back to your groupies. I'm sure they're missing their centerpiece."
Greg smiled, turned, and walked back to his crowd, proud of his sister for taking matters into her own hands where genetics had failed her.
Laura decided to not let this trip to the beach be a waste and found a nice spot to herself to sit and watch the waves. As people walked by she couldn't help but get excited at the prospects of what were to come. Some day she'd be able to come to this beach and turn heads just like her siblings did. Watching people go by she noticed, too, that the ladies on this beach seemed to be fitter than usual, with most sporting defined abs if not an outright six-pack. This was odd to her. Had she just not noticed? She was usually too shy to come down here after all, she could have just missed it. Or maybe that's a new trend? Both plausible answers, but for some reason it piqued her curiosity.
She realized that she had been staring at group of girls admiring their physiques and was suddenly awash in embarrassment. She decided to head on back home and get ready for her gym-date with her brother.
