Erin's most difficult interview ensues

    by: Readmun Author IconMail Icon
"Let's start with you. Why don't you tell me a little about yourself?"

Erin breathed a sigh of relief. At least this was familiar territory. Ms Halloway may as well have been going down the list of common interview questions. She'd prepared for this. Admittedly, she hadn't prepared for the intensely erotic throbbing from her swollen breasts at the time; but she'd prepared for the questions.

"Well, I'm a college graduate," Erin said, truthfully, "And my degree is in marketing, but that included electives framed around office work, data entry, and improving attention to detail," she added, getting started on her lies. "I was born and raised in town, and my - hahh"

Another pulse from her chest, and Erin could have almost sworn she could feel her already uncomfortable shirt grow tighter. She straightened in response, another mistake, as it sent another rush of tingles down her spine. It took all her will to keep to just a startled gasp and not a moan.

" - my father was a lawyer, so I understood the value of an accurate transcription service based purely off his complaints when he got home." This was the part in the script when she was supposed to finish with a winning smile, but Erin was far too out of sorts; the best she could muster was a confused grin.
"I know just what those lawyers can be like when they don't get what they need, so I sympathise. So tell me; with your degree, why come here? For this job? Surely there's something higher paying out there."

If there was, I wouldn't be here, Erin thought, but what she said was: "I want my job to be more than a paycheck. This is my first out-of-college experience, and I'd like it to be a good one. So I've done my research, and your company was the best pick. Best office culture, best chance of upward mobility, best pay, best benefits, best managerial team; all around, the best place to spend my time."

Erin could see Ms Halloway nod approvingly, apparently buying her rehearsed sincerity. Good. She'd used that line at four different places, and it was always a risk; sometimes the interviewers clearly considered it laying it on a little thick, but Ms Halloway must be proud enough of her position to believe it.

Erin allowed herself half a moment to bask in the glow of an interview that seemed to be proceeding fairly well, when the sensation of rising heat began to build in the centre of her chest again. No. No, I'm not doing this. Erin thought, concentrating hard on trying to visualise the feelings going away, I'm just imagining things. Stay focused, Erin. Get out of your head.
And, through the sheer will that she brought to bear on it, she felt that heat begin to, if not dissipate, at least pause in spreading, remaining trapped in a pulsing ball around her heart. It felt strange, but no more waves of bizarre pleasure throwing off her groove; she was doing it!

"Erin?" Ms Halloway said, causing the girl to jolt in her seat. Belatedly, she realised that she had been so focused that she'd missed a question.
"Oh! My apologies," Erin stammered, "I missed that, come again, could you repeat that one?" She inwardly winced. Too many responses.
Ms Halloway raised an eyebrow; "You're sure you're alright? You seem a little out of sorts. Would you like a glass of water?"
"I'm fine!" Erin chirped, "Just... breakfast not entirely agreeing with me. If it's all the same to you, I'd just like to get this done and then deal with it."
"If you're sure," Ms Halloway replied, "Then, I'll move onto a classic. What do you think is your greatest strength?"

Another pulse from the heat trying to push out, and again Erin shoved it resolutely back; though this time it seemed to make the hot sensation intensify. She grit her teeth to carry on, "I'm focused, goal-oriented, and wilful," Erin said, "If I set myself a task, I'll stop at nothing to see it done. Not in the sense of being stubborn, or bloody-minded; I'm more than happy to change my approach. But once my goal is set, it is going to be achieved, one way or another, regardless of difficulty."

"And have people found that difficult to deal with in the past?" Ms Halloway asked. Erin was a little taken aback by that one; this was the first time she'd queried one of her answers. Her tight leash on the ball of angry fire in her chest nearly slipped, but then she pushed on past;
"Sometimes. I'm sure my ex would tell you a few stories happily," she said, and this time pulled off the winsome grin, going for sisterly feeling. She saw it land, and moved in for the kill; "but, as I said, I also pride myself on being adaptable. I've learned that sheer grit doesn't always do it. Sometimes you need to think outside the box, use more then brute force and willpower."

Erin felt nearly certain that steam must be escaping from under her collar. She was starting to sweat. She had caged the weird feeling into her chest, but it seemed to be angry about it, and was only growing stronger; and the effort of keeping it there was getting more and more difficult. Even breathing felt tight against her blouse, and risked more distracting tingles from the motion, so she was nearly starting to pant.

"-test weaknesses? I know no-one likes to talk about them." Ms Halloway was saying. Erin blinked, and rushed to try and answer.
"No, it's - nngh - it's fine," Erin said, through gritted teeth, "It's what I'm here for." What was the question? Her weaknesses? She'd prepared for this one. The answer was to -
Another surge, and another effort of will to keep it contained. Erin squeezed her eyes shut a moment, then shot them open again when she realised how strange that must look. Ms Halloway was starting to get concerned again! Just get talking! Go!
"I guess I care too much about what other people think of me," Erin blurted out.

There was a beat of silence while Ms Halloway waited for her to continue while Erin blinked and tried to work out what the hell she was saying. "Go on. I'm not judging," Ms Halloway said, gently.
"I - well, er, I guess I feel a lot of people just judge me based on the way I look," Erin said, not sure where the words were coming from, but they kept coming anyway, "and it happened to me often enough that it started to really grate, you know? I just want people to think of me because of what I can do, not as a fragile doll or something. And I think I can get too wrapped up in that, and sometimes react too harshly if I think it's happening, even when it isn't. Um. Yeah."

On top of all her other feelings, Erin was now terrified. Only now that she had finished did the memory of her polished lie to that question come back to her mind; instead she'd just spilled her guts to this stranger. She must think she was some sort of dainty flower, or oversharer. Had she just blown it? Again?

Ms Halloway, however, was smiling; her face seemed, in fact, almost motherly. "I've been there before too. I think I can understand. Well, I know it's been short, but I have read through your resume as well, and I think I have all I need."
"Oh," Erin said, feeling a familiar sinking feeling. What was that, four questions? She had blown it.
Ms Halloway stood to offer her a handshake over the table, "We'll call you in the next few days one way or another. But, just between you and me," she added sotto voce, "I think your odds are pretty good."

"Oh!" Erin said, "You mean - I mean, thank you!" She sprang from the chair to her feet, grasping the offered hand, "Thanks so mmmm-oh my God!"

The thought that she'd finally succeeded on her quest had filled Erin with glee, and that had been the first time since the interview started that she had been entirely distracted from the strange feelings in her body. Taking full advantage, the compressed ball of angry heat surged outwards.

Erin's thighs and knees clamped together as a white-hot bolt of liquid pleasure ran from her chest to her crotch in an instant, strong enough that she'd cried out before realising it, and she didn't even at first notice the feeling first of sudden constricting tightness around her chest followed by sudden relief and a soft plink.

As she came back to herself, Erin saw Ms Halloway looking nearly cross-eyed, rubbing a spot on her forehead where something had just hit her. Then, as one, both women's gaze went to the desk to see two buttons lying there, and then to Erin's blouse, where a flash of constrained cleavage was now very visible, having burst through two buttons and pushing against the others.

Erin's smile froze on her face, even as she felt aftershocks of pleasure running through her. She turned her gaze, with mounting dread, to see Ms Halloway's reaction.
