Your name was Jess Fem. You were the youngest and only son among three sisters with a single mom who all struggled to make ends meet. Having just turned seven, your older sisters, Dani and Rachel, both eleven years old, and Tess, fourteen, all towered over you. Each of your sisters had the same longish forest brown hair and green eyes, like your mom. You had sand blond hair and blue eyes like your father who sadly passed away shortly after you were born.
It was your birthday and you were excited to see what your family had gotten you. Lately, you all made gifts for each other as money was tight but homemade was always the best in your mind. Mom smiled at you as you entered the kitchen for breakfast with your sisters already up and waiting for you. "Happy birthday, squirt." Smiling, Tess said. "Today is very special for you."
"Really?" Surprised, you asked. "What did you guys make me?"
Mom giggled slightly with a hint of a blush on her face. "Well, we all discussed it and decided you deserved to get a gift bought from the store this year." Bemused, she said. "It's not much, mind you but we felt it might help you get closer to the family."
"Okay..." Slightly confused, you said. "Can I open my gifts now?"
Dani and Rachel both blushed and began to giggle before Tess hushed them quiet, confusing you more as mom smiled kindly, still blushing herself. "You may open one gift then you have to eat some breakfast." Firmly but kindly, she said. "These presents will need some explaining but I think you'll understand once I tell you why we got what we did."
Now you were a little worried. "You didn't spend all of your saved up money just for me, did you?" Timidly, you demanded. "You didn't have to..."
"Just open one of the gifts, Jess." Smiling, Tess said.
Smiling, you unwrapped the first gift to find a brand new training bra from some company named PINK. This took you quite by surprise. "What...?"
You turned to mom and your sisters, your eyes demanding an explanation.
