Trish had just agreed to be an in-class taste tester for the midterm of her friend Ashley's Culinary 101 class. Trish had been enjoying experiencing all the different culinary delights get friends had been testing on her over the past two months, so she figured helping out one of the classes was the least she could do. It's, who doesn't love free food?
Come Monday though, Trish realized she should have asked for more details on exactly what she'd be doing. Due to the course being an entry level requirement for virtually all students going through the culinary program, the class held nearly 75 students. And Trish, along with 2 other volunteer taste testers, was expected to sample a few bites of every. Single. Student's. Dish.
The first ten or so plates weren't too bad, at only two or three bites per plate. After that she started to feel full. By dish 20, she was starting to regret her decision. By dish 30, she had accepted the pain of her stuffed gut and simply resigned herself to tenderly swallowing her few forkfuls, knowing full well that they couldn't hurt any more than the last.
Chocolate lava cake, fresh donuts, buttery bacon, cheesy pastas. Trish tried every food group, and seemingly every variety of food on the planet. And they were all so good. How was it possible that the food could all be so delicious while still causing her belly to get more and more taut and stuffed?
By the end, Trish had long unbuttoned her jeans. 73 students' dishes. About 200 generous bites of food. A massively stuffed stomach. Good thing she was wearing s t-shirt. And what a mistake to have worn jeans.
