This choice: Went to lunch and met the client early on • Go Back... Though her meeting was of the utmost importance, Lady Tsunade strictly admonished her as well as her other teammates that they not seem too conspicuous; while she also warned that complacency was a shinobi's deadly folly, when pressed on how they should act, Tsunade responded with a casual "play it cool" and dismissed Hinata, Naruto, Ino, Sakura, Lee, and Sai so that they may prepare for their journey and reconvene at the Hokage Mansion in three hours for lunch. Such familiarity was unheard of, especially not from the usually gruff Tsunade when given her tendencies; so everyone seemed a little anxious when, once again, she stressed that their client for this mission was very affluent and that her family held a lot of power in not only the Land of Fire, but all over the Ninja World...
Hinata's feet hardly strung an echo as she traipsed quietly down the hallways of the Hokage Mansion, her small whimpers and otherwise didn't warrant anything other than silence as she fretted over her meeting with the nobelman's daughter. What would she say to her? They were both from esteemed families, Hinata had been forced into playing with many other children of noble bloodline as a child, maybe she could build on that? No, that was silly. No doubt that Lady Sanada was a woman about her own age now. Hinata never did have that spark for connecting with people the way that some of the other villagers did. Naruto especially.
Oh Naruto...
Hinata's thoughts began to wander gently into daydreams as she imagined a yorely Naruto dressed handsomely in a traditional kimono, herself dressed accordingly as the two of them sat perched on her family's grounds; looking upwards dreamily at the sky before their vision loomed downwards to meet eachother's gaze. They smile, look away bashfully of course, and then... only if he wanted to, they would slowly turn back to one another. His lips would curl upwards into a smile, one that brought itself closer to the matching pair of dimples Hinata's close-mouthed grin sported. His lips would pucker slightly, she would let her mouth fall agape as his tongue slowly-
"LADY HINATA!!!", Rock Lee's boisterous bellowing had pulled a reluctant Hyuuga girl from her innocent daily fantasy, not so much as to her annoyance as much to her disappointment, and rushed to meet her side. Unlike the aforementioned clansman, Lee took quick bounding steps whose sounds were left bounding off the walls and floors as he eagerly rushed to meet his fellow comrade for this mission. "O-Oh, h-hi... Lee." Hinata said with a slight stutter, her mind still fresh with vivid images of that fictional kiss. "Haa" he exhaled, "I am glad to see that I am not the only one who is so nervous about meeting our client." the dogbrowwed individual said rather boldly, referring to just how red Hinata's face still was after her fantasizing.
"O-Oh!" Hinata exclaimed, if one could call it that, as she tentatively touched her face, "I, um, its nothing." she said dismissively, "So... um, when are we supposed to meet with the Hokage?"
"I have no idea!" Rock Lee said with unnerving confidence. Like, seriously unnerving. "Wh-What?" Hinata stuttered. "But a man of such youth, innocence and purity should hold no reservations when it comes to arrangements carefully set by his superiors!" he exclaimed with a fist pump, "I shall rush ahead and ask about the location of our mysterious ward so that I may relay the information back to you!"
His enthusiasm was met with a blank stare, not one of stupidity but one of patronization. Hinata was always more of a people pleaser. "W-Why don't you just stay here with me until the others arrive, that way neither of us have to be lonely?" Rock Lee smiled. Like, a normal person smile, not one of those crazy training smiles. "Sure thing, Hinata." he said, happily partaking in the merriment that was Hinata's one-girl team. "So, do you know anything about our client?" Hinata asked after a second or two of silence. After all, how much was there to talk about with Rock Lee? "I am afraid that I do not know any more than you do, Lady Hokage was very brief with her delegations today which is very odd for her."
"Bushy Brow!" came the familiar bark of yet another teammate as he trekked towards the pair.
"Naruto!"
Of course, it was Naruto. The jumpsuited ninja happily strolled down the hallways with both Sakura and Sai beside him. All of them had warm, inviting looks on their faces; though upon further inspection one could see a slight stain on Naruto's jacket and a slight roughing up of his cheek, which matched the whitening of Sakura's knuckles. Hinata giggled as she cleverly deduced that Naruto had stopped for an early lunch, Sakura found him and promptly punished him. And somehow Sai got into the mix, judging by some slight bruising and minor contusions. As Lee and Naruto met eachother with a fist bump, Sakura and Hinata began to commune.
"So you don't know anything either?" Sakura asked Hinata. The presence in the hallway wasn't one of idle teenaged gossiping; bent on spreading rumors (the absent Ino) and scaring the weaker minded of the clique (Naruto and Lee). No, the congregation going on between now all five members of the present party was one of honest intrigue regarding just who it was they were supposed to be protecting. Sai seemed to be keeping quiet, though there was no doubt he knew just as little as the others.
"I wonder if she's some kind of princess?" Sakura said brightly as her fantasies carried her away, "Who wears pretty dresses, has long beautiful hair, and kicks all the local mens' butts when they try to grab her ass!" Lee too, decided to join in, "I think that this mystery woman is one of more lethal beauty!" he began, "One who has mastered every dangerous art of taijutsu known to mankind! She would wear a tight gi and a blackbelt around her slender frame, and-
"Please, Lee, lets not delve into your sexual fantasies." Sai said coldly
"Yeah, I'd really like to stay far away from those." Sakura reaffirmed
There was a slight commotion in laughter as Lee got all watery eyed before a foreign voice emerged. "And I'd really like it if you guys would hurry up and get down to the dining room so Lady Tsunade doesn't blow a gasket!" All eyes turned to face Ino Yamanaka, who had been absent this entire time; apparently because she had been counted present with the Hokage! "Seriously, you guys are really gonna be late!" she warned.
For fear of blowing one of Tsunade's gaskets, all ninja in the room shuddered with anticipation and fear.

"Ugh... mpm... that was good."
An unfamiliar girl sat crosslegged at the head of the table opposite Tsunade. This unfamiliar girl was, most noticeably, quite large for a girl to have come out of an action anime. Starting from the top, this girl had a sort of powder blue shade to her brown hair, where the brown focused in the back and faded naturally to the color of a robin's egg. It was kept very long and in many tails; there was one big one in the back with two smaller ones directly next to it, which sat atop two ponytails that touched her rear bound together into a divided style. Her bangs were kept out of her face, mostly via clip, but a pesky strand of hair that always seemed to poke out had to be constantly readjusted and tucked behind her ear. Her face was beautiful, one of a china doll's given a few too many chins, and her skin had the matching texture of pristine pale; the life of pampering and avoiding anything even resembling work having paid off in its exquisite complexion. Her smooth skin rounded out over her made up face, done in traditional Japanese styling strictly for the meeting, and folded once to give the indent of a second chin. After that, her body fell to pieces. She had narrow shoulders caked in fat, her upperarms clearly defined as they tested the confines of her robe. Her stomach sat slightly away from her, almost as if on its own, as she leaned into her meal. Her bottom, grown wide from many years of posturing on plush objects, was thick and meaty; it bulged outwards even now as she sat atop the most comfortable pillows available to her.
Needless to say, Tsunade and Shizune were shocked to say the least. This woman was Lord Fuukuraida's daughter, his sole proprietor of his wealth but also the only biological inheritor of many powerful techniques. How had he, such an esteemed and proud man, spawned such a sloth?
"Well, I'm glad you liked it Lady Fuukuraida." Tsunade said happily as she signaled that her plate be cleared. "Please, you can just call me Sanada." she said humbly.
"Of course." Tsunade said daintily as she nudged Shizune under the table. She outstretched her palm, to the onlooking noblewoman it seemed like nothing more than nervous twitching, but Shizune's eyes widened as she read the descriptive death threats that the absence of their team warranted. "I-um, better go see where those kids are." Shizune said nervously.
"No need!" Naruto's brash voice came clamoring into the room first, as usual. Sakura promptly bonked him on the noggin, as usual. "Excuse us milady, but may we sit with you?"
"Of course!" Tsunade said warmly, take a seat, all of you!" indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
