In a very bold move to appear less menacing and alien to these furless creatures, the wolves opted to dump their advanced weaponry and equipment. They downgraded to equipping weapons and gear more in line with the technological developments of 10,000 BC earth.

The first contact is perhaps the most important event in the shared history of both races, depending on what the first impressions are, the rest of history will change drastically.
