You yawn, stretch your long arms out, and scratch your hairy back, as your eyes adjust to the dark. You then look over and see your two sons sleeping on the ground near you, along with your gray colored grandfather. You then stand up, and look outside the cave. You are basically a nocturnal creature, so your morning is the human’s afternoon. As you peek outside the cave, and you hear several pink skin voices several miles away, yes, you’re hearing is that good. Curious about your pink skin neighbors, you decide to investigate them. You have never seen a human up close before, and you figure that tonight might be the night to study them. While the rest of your family sleeps, you sneak threw the forest with incredible ease. As you do this, you are not afraid of anything. However, certain things will alarm you, like pink skin apes with fire sticks (guns), large groups of Chupacabra, and large bears. Nothing else in these woods can even dare try to harm you, and you know it.
You sneak down a dark trail towards the first human dwelling you come across. As you stand behind a large tree, you see several lights on. All of them are located on the second floor. Everything else below them, on the first floor is dark. You see several tall, strong trees surrounding this home. So, you decide to crawl up on of them, in order to study these humans up close, and satisfy your curiosity. You effortlessly climb up the tree like an Olympic gymnast, and look in the well-lighted window. The curtains are wide open, and you see in the room?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
