Lizzy stared at herself in the mirror, resting her hands on her pudgy middle. She wasn't fat, barely chubby, but her belly was rolling over her waistband, a sensation alien to her. Her thicker arms trembled as she drummed her flab, her boobs slightly larger, her derriere filling more of her jeans than normally expected. Still, she wore a frown on her round, cherubic face as she recalled Jacob's other girlfriends.
Next to them, she was still a pathetic stick.
"Haven't you eaten enough yet?" Clara asked as the two of them lounged around in her living room, each eating a burger from Wendy's. Clara had put on a couple pounds in the time spent helping Lizzy. It wasn't substantial, but she was starting to get something of a belly. Lizzy felt the urge to poke her, at which she squeaked a high-pitched coo of delight.
"I don't think it's enough yet," Lizzy replied, "I think I should probably do it at about, oh, 170 or so."
"That's thirty more pounds," Clara said, her voice trailing off.
"Yeah, so? Don't think I can do it?"
"No, you could, it's just--aren't you worried about your health?"
"My biggest concern right now, to be totally honest, is another girl getting Jacob. I'm not gonna let them get him first," Lizzy replied, smirking as she munched into her meaty burger, wiping the juices rolling over her lips with the back of her hand.
