Daniel was only 5 ft 4 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds; not very heavy and certainly not muscular. He was of average height and weight, and he looked just like any other average student in high school. He had just turned fifteen years old, and just like any other freshman, he had to deal with being among the youngest and the weakest guys in school.
Daniel, or Danny, like everyone else liked to call him, had just finished his carton of Muscle Milk, although he didn’t know that he had just consumed a carton of tainted milk all by himself. As the milk made its way through his digestive system and then entered his blood stream from there, the strange, radioactive chemicals in the tainted milk began to alter the DNA of the teenager almost immediately.
Daniel sat quietly at the table with Paul, one of his classmates sitting next to him. The two were almost considered among the geeks in the ninth grade, so they weren’t known to be very popular.
“Hmm… Dude, that milk had a strange taste to it…” Danny said softly. “It wasn’t sour, just… different…”
Then, Daniel suddenly heard a rumbling sound coming from his stomach.
“Are you okay?” Paul asked him.
“Uhh… I think I gotta go to the bathroom…” Daniel said, as he stood up and walked to the boy’s bathroom, which was around the corner. He walked in and went into a stall, locking the door behind him.
For a brief moment, he was overcome by a feeling of nausea, and then it passed. He felt like he was about to become sick, but the feeling passed. When he realized the worst was over, he came out of the stall and walked up to the sink to wash his hands, where he saw his reflection in the large mirror, which was hanging from the bathroom wall.
Then, something weird happened. Daniel was overcome by a strange but soothing tingling sensation, which spread all over his body, but specifically to his muscles. The tingling was warm and soothing, and it didn’t hurt. The tingling sensation settled on a certain group of muscles in his body, before those muscles started to grow!
