Jessie swallowed the last bite of her burger and looked at her mother.
"Mommy can i have some more please?"
"Of course you can sweetie. If you ask so nice. Anyone else?"
Her brothers shook their heads and also her dad said he had enough. Her father and brothers went watching T.V while her mother walked back too the kitchen and returned a few minutes later with another four hamburgers. She thought just one or two would have been enough for her.
"Wow you made four burgers?"
"Well i mostly buy a big box so everyone has enough but since i'm on a diet i don't eat any. So we had some left. I decided too empty the box since you wanted more."
Jessie lifted her shoulders and started to eat her fifth burger that went down with out a problem. The sixth also went down good but now she felt full. But still two burgers were left. She got the idea they were looking at her. Softly singing: "Eat us! Eat us!"
She picked up another and pushed it in her mouth just like the other two and with some trouble she chowed him down. Now for the last. Slowly she took a bite. And another and another. Her belly started to hurt. But she kept eating. She was alway's told to never threw away good food.
She remembered pictures of underfed kids in third world countries. With big bellies. When she first saw it she thought it was about fat kids who ate too much but her mother told her that that was't the problem. Those kids got not enough food since they had't enough food. Since that moment she decided to always ate her food instead of throw it away since other kids had't enough.
Finally she swallowed the last bite and belched loudly. She smiled widely. She had done it. All burgers were in her tummy.
"Hee do you two come watching the movie?" Robbie and Bobby asked.
Jessie stood up an ran too the T.V. Her father bought a bunch of Disney DVD's a few days ago and since it was vacation they were watching one every evening or during the day since the weather was so bad lately and it did't seemed to be getting any better. More worse.
"Which one are we watching?" Jessie asked.
"Finding Nemo." Bobby said.
"Yeah. There are jellyfishes, whales, turtles and also three big sharks with pointy teeth that can eat you in one bite!"
"I heard that sharks were very nice. Now be quit and watch the movie." their father said.
Their mom also went sitting on the couch with Jessie between her and her father. Robbie and Bobbie were both lying on their back in front of the T.V wit a few pillows under their heads.
Halfway during the movie their mom made some popcorn like she did every evening while watching a movie during the vacation. When the popcorn was finished she gave everyone a bowl filled with popcorn. Jessie noticed that her bowl was bigger then normal she looked at her mother.
"I can't have popcorn since i'm on a diet so i give you my part." She whispered too her.
Jessie did't thought anything of it and ate her popcorn while watching the movie.
