You are an average fourteen year old girl who about a week ago that was the normal for you. Last week however something inside you had changed you can't remember how or even why it was happening. All you knew was that somehow you had become far different than you ever had been. You went to your parents and asked them about it, but unfortunately they gave no answers to you. It wasn't until you smashed the alarm clock and your end table the next morning when you first discovered you had Super Strength!
You were amazed at your strength and power and even became invigorated at using it to get what ever you could want. You could literally be anything! The first thing you decided to do after that was get dressed and show your best friend your new found powers surely she too would be amazed at your awesome power as well! There was just one problem though, you had no control over your power and wound up breaking everything you touched from the door, to the bathroom faucets and even your dad's car which you thought was a piece of junk anyway. Slowly as time passed you began to realize that having these powers may not be as great as you would think.
You go towards your best friend Rebecca Star. She had blond hair blue eyes was about five foot six feet tall and you and her had known each other since you were little. You try to knock as carefully as you can as you didn't want to damage her door, but still had little to no control over your own strength yet. It was her mother who answered the door.
" Hello, Is Rebecca Home?" You ask.
" Yes, she is come right in, recently she's been keeping to herself a bit more than usual though. I don't know what's gotten in to that girl, maybe you can help." Her mom said letting you inside her house. It was shortly after that you went towards Rebecca's room and knocked on the door.
" Rebecca it's me! You can open up." You tell her.
" No! You can't see me like this! I'm a freak!" Rebecca yelled. The freak comment suggested that something has happened to her, something she's afraid of. Yet you knew you had to go see her to see what it was that was going on.
" Rebecca you're not a freak! What ever it was that's bothering you or changed you I'm sure we can get through it together! I have changed somewhat as well, Here I'm coming in!" You tell her and come in the door and that is when you first see Rebecca and the changes she has gone through. You just woke up to having super strength one day ago, but your friend Rebecca now had cat ears and a cat tail as well as the reflexes of a cat and very sharp claws!
She was amazed to see your strength but as you saw her sitting in the corner of the room afraid of everyone judging her for how she looked, you caressed her as gently as you could and held her in your arms. " Rebecca! Just cause your like this doesn't make you any less of yourself, You are still my best friend and always will be!"
" Thanks, I need that, but I think you need to learn to control your strength your still hugging too tight I can't breathe." Rebecca said. You quickly remove your arms from Rebecca allowing her to breathe once more. The week passed on and Rebecca began homeschooling still afraid of what people would think about her look. During that week you discovered to teenager all over the world were beginning to have powers but there was no reason or explanation of why. You and Rebecca for that past week had been working on that mystery.
You missed Rebecca w hen you had to go to school but you also knew that she needed time before she was more comfortable with her changes. It was during today a week after you gained your superpowers when you first heard of....
