“Hey you, kid! FREEZE!” the guard shouted, as you started running down the other end of the corridor. You just saw walls and walls with an occasional door, but nothing else which indicated a way out of the building. Then, you decided to run faster… and faster… and faster. Next thing you knew, you saw everything become a blur, and you were standing at the end of the corridor!
“Ugh! Dead end! Now what?” you say, as you turn around and saw three guards running towards you from the distance!
“Holy crap! Did you see that?” one of the guards shouts. “He just became a blur! That kid is fast!”
Then, another guard brandished a gun and opened fire!
POW! POW! POW!
You felt something hitting you in the arm, then then shoulder, then your chest… But it didn’t hurt and you looked down and realized that you weren’t bleeding and there was no wound! Finally, when you looked down at the concrete floor, you spotted three bullets on the floor by your feet!
“Shoot him! KILL HIM! NOW!”
Another guard holds a machine gun and fires at you!
RATTATATAATAAATTTATATAATTAAAAA!!!!
You are being showered with bullets but they just bounce off of your skin! You become very scared, but you realized that nothing can hurt you!
Then you turn towards the wall and you stare at it. The wall becomes transparent and you see the outside sky! Freedom!
“I gotta get out of here!” you shout, as you extend your arms and place the palms of your hands against the wall and you press as hard as you can. The wall begins to crack and the bricks begin to give way to your superhuman strength as you burst your way through the brick wall with great ease!
You jump through the hole you just created and you hit the grassy field outside! You begin to run towards a high metal fence! You reach the fence in a matter of seconds but sparks come off the metal the second you touch it. The fence is charged with electricity!
“If I can’t touch it, then I’ll have to jump over it!”
You take a few steps back and run towards the fence and with one mighty leap, with arms extended, you soar over the fence by leaping almost ten feet through the air. But, you never even come down, for you begin to fly through the air! As long as you keep your arms extended, you continue to ascend higher and higher through the air as you fly towards your house!
“Wow! I can fly! This is sooooo cool!” you cheer, as you look down at the soldiers, who are still firing their guns at you from the ground, until you’re too far away from them. “That was just too easy!”
You decide to fly home, but how long can you stay there until the soldiers come after you again? Why do they want you anyway? Then it dawns on you: You are superhuman and you’re a threat to the military!
