All around giant machines loomed in the darkness. Hulking things of metal fitted with copper plates and pipes. Dials and gauges were covered in dust and grime. And some giant gears the size of Spyro's whole body had fallen off one of the contraptions.
"What do you suppose this place is?" Cynder asked as she cautiously circled one of the looming creations.
"Don't know, but be careful," Spyro cautioned her, "This stuff looks real old. No telling if it might collapse on us."
Spyro continued walking with Cynder, pressing a bit further into the cave. He'd just noticed something like a table covered in books when a crackle behind him caused him to turn and spy Cynder standing next to a lever covered panel arching with electricity.
"What did you do?"
"I don't know!" Cynder replied looking frantic, "I barely brushed the thing and it went off!"
"Get away from-" Spyro started towards her but as his claws landed on a recessed disk in the floor a strange field sprung up around him, pinning the purple dragon in place.
"Spyro!" Cynder called and dashed towards him, only to be caught over another plate in much the same way.
The two dragons were held still as statues, unable to do anything as the crackling of electricity grew louder and louder. The pair could feel it vibrating through their bodies as the machines energy built to a shuddering crescendo.
Choice 1: The machines energy begins to die down and the pair are released, thinking nothing happened... until their bodies begin to change in some way.
Choice 2: Spyro and Cynder are slammed into eachother, their bodies fused together into a new dragon.
Choice 3: The pair of dragons 'commingle'. Cynder emerges with the same coloring as Spyro and both are suddenly herms of both genders. The pair made 'equal'.
