"Well, well, well," said a familiar yet unwelcome voice behind Spyro, "What do we have here?"
If the purple dragon was even more startled, he would have jumped right out of his scales. He tried unsuccessfully to cover his throbbing member, blushing so hard that his face was turning completely red.
"Caught you for the fourth time, hey?" Cynder continued, "I really wish you'll pick a better spot and time to 'play' with yourself. Well, I guess I should leave you to your business."
"No," Spyro said, standing up, "My arousal is kinda ruined now, so it's no use."
It was true: the scare he got made his penis go quickly soft, and right now it was creeping back into its pouch.
"Sorry that you had to see that," Spyro continued, apologizing.
"Don't worry; I'm used to it by now," Cynder said.
Spyro smiled awkwardly, "I'll just have to find something to take my mind off of what happened."
"I know what," Cynder said, waving her paw in front of her nostrils, "We can go take a bath in the hot-springs we discovered. You kinda smell musky, and I've had a craving to soak in it for a while."
The hot-springs Cynder had been talking about were a series of bubbling, steaming pools located on a large floating island.
Unlike the other drifting land masses, this platform had a fixed pattern, revolving around an even bigger island, which could be seen from miles around, so it was relatively easy to find it.
Descending into the thick forest, Spyro and Cynder landed on a clearing were the pools were situated.
The hot-springs were obviously part of a old building once. There were still tiles that covered the ground as well as the occasional crumbling pillar, and twelve small pools were built neatly around one very large pool, which had statue of a dragon sitting on its haunches.
Where the warm water was coming from Spyro and Cynder did not know. They could only speculate that some sort of underground source, perhaps lava, was heating the water.
When they discovered this for the first time, they only swam in the small pools, but today they were going to use the large one.
But due to its size they discovered, when Spyro and Cynder dived in, that the water was far colder than the smaller pools, but it was still very pleasant to swim in.
Cynder lounged on the side, enjoying the bubbles moving past her, which tickled her scales, while Spyro swam about, both to wash himself clean and to keep his distance away from the black dragoness, for he was still a little embarrassed about earlier.
But as they continued to relax in the warm water, something unexpected happened...
