Using Matt as a test subject for the remote didn't seem such a bad idea. While he slept, I could make him much smaller than I dared to shrink myself, just to see what the device was capable of. Then use the growth function to return him to normal size, when I was done experimenting. If I was quiet enough I might be able to test the remote without even waking him up. Eager to proceed with my plan, I aimed the remote and pressed the button.
I watched in amazement as the beam hit my son's shoulder and he slowly began to shrink. Although I had shrunk myself just minutes before, it was a whole new experience to see another person shrinking. Matt’s head slid off the pillow and his legs began moving up to the center of the bed as his size dwindled. After reducing his body to about 3 feet I paused to examine him. His boxers had mostly slid off.
Matt was still snoring, but the volume had turned down a bit. Funny, how he now sounded like a sleeping 8 year old. It brought back feelings and memories I had long since forgotten. The thoughts made me smile. Matt almost looked like a little kid again. A kid that needed a shave, but his new size made the illusion pretty real. I knelt beside the bed and leaned over my shrunken son. He looked so cute and peaceful, I had to resist not to hug him.
I decided to take a peek under the covers. I carefully pulled off the sheets to reveal my son's lower body. His boxers were still covering his privates, but it looked more like a towel than actual clothing on him. How would he react if he woke up to find his large mother looking down on him. Maybe it would scare him to dead or, what seemed more likely considering he took after his father, he would think it was just some crazy dream.
