A small hobbit brought forward a small ring. You had heard rumours about this ring. This was the one thing that could destroy your father utterly. But the only way to destroy it was to cast it into the fires of mount doom. You knew this. And as the hobbit volunteered to take the ring into mordor, You knew he was either very brave, or unknowing of the dangers that he would face in and out of Mordor. But you could see in his eyes that he had already faced great danger and peril. He does not know the way into mordor. "I wil help you" you say. "I know of a secret way into Mordor, but the road is perilous and we may not survive" "I will also come" said Gandalf. "You carry the fate of us all little one" said Boromir "I will follow you to whatever end" Aragorn son of Arathorn stepped forward "You have my sword" He said. "And you have my bow" said your friend Legolas. "And my axe" said Legolas's friend Gimli, You had often wondered why Legolas and Gimli were such good friends, but you decided to just accept it. Then three more hobbits came out of hiding to stand by the other hobbits side, declaring that they were coming too. Elrond considered and then sent one of the hobbits, Peregrin Took(pippin), home. He protested but Elronds decision was final. You wondered if they knew the peril they were getting themselves into. Pippin might be the lucky one. That night you and Gandalf discussed which route to take. "We could take the road to the Morgul Vale and the pass of Cirith Ungol" You suggested "I can speak to Shelob to let us through" "It's too dangerous!!" said Gandalf. "I have heard that Sauron has taken Minas Morgul" "That is sad news indeed" You say. "But what other choice do we have?" "We could assemble all our allies and try and create a diversion" said Gandalf. "Mordor is still impenetrable" you argue. "I need to think of another plan then" said Gandalf "Your plan would not work" "One thing is for certain, the ring cannot stay here" You say "We don't have the strength here to fight both Mordor and Isengard" "We should move out by morning"agreed Gandalf.
