This choice: Study all the effects of the jutsu first • Go Back...Chapter #7The Rules (of thumb) by: Oji   Sakura read from the scroll, which had a lot of information on it. Making it harder to understand it was written in an archaic dialect so old that she couldn't even place the age anymore. So, in order to help herself out she copied down the gist of it, and it reflects Sakura's own best understanding of the detailed ancient scroll. Below is the finished product of her work to translate she scroll from the archaic dialect to something understandable.
"The primary jutsu of this scroll, the Vore Jutsu, is a combination chakura absorption, medical, and lethal jutsu. While the conditions for this jutsu to be usable are tricky to come by, the results are better than practically any other technique. In terms of chakura absorption, the results are permanent. For medical purposes, as long as the patient survives to the end of the surgery it will cure any injury, even regrowing limbs. And as a lethal jutsu... once performed the odds of the enemy surviving boil down to the strength of they're taijutsu and chakura. So long as the enemy has no exceptionally powerful taijutsu, like Gentle Fist, it will 100% kill enemies with less then 10 times the chakura of the patient."
'Which basically means that if I used it against someone like Ino, or even Kakashi-sensei, they wouldn't stand a chance. Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata would probably be best off. After all, it mentions that with a powerful enough taijutsu the required ratio of chakura becomes more demanding on the patient... and Hinata's Gentle Fist is pretty much as powerful as a taijutsu comes. Well, I guess there's also my own and Tsunade-sama's unique taijutsu as well as Might Guy and Rock Lee's 8 gates.'
"For this jutsu to work there must be at least two parties, though 3 is considered the norm. Those parties are defined as; the Medical Ninja who knows the jutsu and makes it possible, the Predator who performs the Jutsu on the final party, which is the Prey. It is possible for the Medical Ninja to also be the Predator, and that has direct effects on the jutsu. As the reader is assumed to be the Medical Ninja, it will be noted what differences will be made to the effects if you were to use it as the Predator yourself. For this jutsu to work you must manipulate the chakura of the Predator along the entire digestive system in order to allow it to withstand a meal of far larger size. It will work best if you use their own chakura for this, and therefore requires extreme skill and care if you are not performing the Jutsu yourself. This is phase one. Once the Predator is prepared the Prey must be completely devoured and placed into the digestive system of the Predator. This is phase two. After this has taken place you activate the hand seals ********** and the Predator's body will begin to break down the Prey's into nutrients that you can use to restore the Predator to perfect health. This is phase three. Once the Predator has been completely restored you may freely use the leftover nutrients to increase the muscle or fat content of the Predator and place it wherever you wish on their body. Note that if you are acting as the Predator that the control of this aspect will be several times more difficult. This is the final phase."
'I knew that part sounded too good to be true. Sigh, looks like I could help Ino use this and could send it all to her gut and make her actually a fat pig.' Sakura laughs to herself for a minute at the mental picture of Ino raging at her for giving her a gut. 'But if I use it myself there's no garentee that I wouldn't turn into a fat bellied whale myself.'
"While there directly controlling the final phase when you are the Predator is extremely difficult, it should be noted that there already exists a noticeable tendency, over 80%, for this resulting addition to the body to happen in a highly beneficial way."
'Oh' Sakura thought. 'So it would at least be extremely strange if I were to end up like that. I guess that's something at least.'
"Once phase two is complete the jutsu of the Prey will be sealed, leaving them with only the most basic uses of their chakura and their taijutsu. In addition, the stomach is placed close to the very center of the chakura network, mean that it benefits tremendously more then any other part of the Predator's body from the strength of their chakura. These two facts give the Predator an overwhelming advantage over the Prey, allowing extremely powerful Prey to be killed by rather weak Predators during phase three. This is even more pronounced in the case where you are the Predator yourself. It is also worth noting that the only way that you can aid a Predator besides yourself to digest their Prey is to somehow either increase the Predator's chakura or decrease the Prey's. Any Prey that is capable of putting out more then 10 times the chakura of the Predator, unless you yourself are the Predator, should not be selected unless you have a means on hand to do one of these actions. If you are the Predator, the limit should be considered 20 times instead."
'That means that Sasuke is actually still an option... Naruto would be risky if he entered his Sage mode though. But baised on the reason that you can deal with those with so much stronger chakura, someone who can directly attack the chakura pathway system, like Hinata, would be the technique's Achilles's heel.'
"The absorption of chakura and the total amount of the Prey's mass available for healing wounds and improving the Predator's body are linearly related, and although the figure varies from case a good rule of thumb for first time users is that they will absorb 20-30% of the chakura and 5-10% of the body mass of the Prey. According to how the Predator trains themselves they can either raise or lower those figures, but no training has ever been able to seperate them. I. E. no training has ever allowed them to increase chakura absorption while decreasing or even holding body mass absorption equal. This allows for a number of convenient uses."
'And of course that's where it becomes absolutely unintelligible. As old as this scroll obviously is, maybe I should be happy that I got this much out of it. I'm gonna have to be training for quite some time to learn this though. Who knows, maybe I'll even find someone to use it against.' Sakura thought to herself as she began to practice moving her chakura through her throat, learning to mold the chakura for the required body parts one by one. 'Still, I have to wonder why this one is a forbidden jutsu. It is plenty ruthless, but it looks like who has to worry about paying a price for it's use is the enemy anyways. Or... the Prey rather.' Sakura blushes as she imagines the most infuriating of her 4 fold problem as her first Prey, punishing them for their treatment of her while giving her the body she deserves at the same time.
