Unaware if what had happened to her, Livewire kept absorbing the electricity from the power station. With each second that passed, she grew even stronger.
"Ha! This time, I'll be able to stop that goody-goody two shoes, Superman. He won't even know what hit him." said Livewire with a smug grin on her face.
However, as she absorbed the power, Livewire noticed that, while she could feel herself growing stronger she could also feel herself getting hungrier. Livewire hadn't eaten anything since the accident that made her a walking lightening rod, instead she had been surviving on electricity. The more she thought about it, the more Livewire realized she missed eating food.
"God, what I wouldn't give for a nice burger, with melted cheese, some nice crisp lettuce and some fries on the side, slathered in ketchup." Livewire muttered, practically drooling onto the floor.
Dustin thought Livewire was safe to approach, now that she seems distracted.
"Excuse me, miss? Are you alright?" you asked, snapping her out of her fantasizing on food.
"Huh?!" she yelled, surprised at your sudden presence before floating away several feet and entering a fighting stance.
"Woah, woah, it's alright. I'm not here to hurt you." you said alarmed, as you put up your hands and try to get her to lower her stance.
"Really? Ha! I think you should be the one, who's worried pal, don't you know who I am?" Livewire said in a confident tone.
"Yeah, I know you. You're Livewire." you exclaimed.
"HA! Damn ri-"
"I'm a big fan!" you shouted, cutting off Livewire and getting her to lower her guard.
"R-really?" asked an incredulous Livewire.
"Yeah, you're awesome!" you told her. "You're one of the coolest supervillains ever and your talkshow was so amazing! Though I have to admit, seeing you on newspapers and on TV is nothing compared to the real thing of course".
Livewire's cheeks were slightly more blue than before as the egotistical villainess was now blushing due to Dustin's compliment.
"Well thank you. It's good to see I still have some loyal fans that haven't abandoned me." Livewire proclaimed.
"It's not your fault." you spoke up again. "It's their fault. They abandoned you, when you were at your lowest."
Before Livewire could respond, there was a large rumble that came from Livewire's stomach, which happened st the same time a sharp pain went through Livewire's stomach.
"Ah!" Livewire shouted, clutching her stomach and falling to the ground.
"Miss Livewire, are you ok?" you exclaimed, running to her side.
"I-I'm fine, don't worry I'm just a bit hungry." Livewire strained out.
"Oh, well do you want to go eat somewhere then?" you asked.
"Really? Do you anywhere nearby?" Livewire asked, the pain having subsided.
"Oh yeah, there's a new Big Belly Burger that opened up two blocks away. Not to mention the new Taco Whiz joint that opened up. Oh and you can't forget Planet Krypton, the new superhero-themed all-you-eat-buffet."
Livewire was licking her lips at the thought of all those places before asking:
"Where should we go?"
"You can decide." you kindly suggested. "Lady's choice."
Livewire began thinking deeply, before coming up with her final answer.
