As you looked at your friend, you could see just how upset she was. These were her true feelings, being one of, if not the only, Nekomata in this world. You could only imagine how long she must have been feeling like this. Despite how upset you were with her, you knew she needed you now. With your big paws, you gently wrapped yourself around the Neko.
"Yuki, how long have you felt like this?" you asked, rubbing her back softly. Yukiro didn't say anything at first, her body falling into your own. As you continued rubbing her, you could somehow tell that she what you were doing was working, as if by instinct.
Finally, Yukiro pulled herself back and sat in Seiza. She looked up at you, tears still flowing quietly from her face, and responded, "For one or two hundred years. I know everyone cares for me but...it's just not the same, Ny. There's no one who understands what it's like to be like this." She let out a little sob before continuing. "That's why I turned you into a Neko just like me, because your one of my best friends, Nya. I thought...you might be able to understand, but...it was wrong of me to do this to you, Ny Ny. I can change you back. Let me just-"
You quickly cut her off. "Yuki, please just relax. I'm sorry for being so upset. If this really means so much to you, then I guess I can stay like this, at least for a while." Yuki's face lit up with pure joy. "REALLY!? REALLY?! NYAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" She screamed as she pounced on you. The both of you fell back as she hugged you furiously.
"Ok, Ok!!! I'm glad your happy again but please don't keep doing that. This body is a bit...sensitive" you said, rolling away from her. "I'll try, Nyah" she replied, grinning brightly.
With the tears washed way, you wonder what to do next?
