Chapter #4She doesn't like it by: Charon Shego looked down at her newfound bulk with disdain. Admittedly, she loved the feeling of power running rampant through her, but she could already tell that she wouldn't be as flexible or as maneuverable with all of these muscles, and that was something she was not willing to sacrifice. After all, when one laser or stun blast is all that matters, you need to be as small and fast a target as possible.
Drakken just stared at the musclebound woman before him. Shego looked like a tribal warrior-goddess, ready to rain hell upon her enemies.
"Now are you glad I asked you to test it BEFORE blasting Kimmie?" Shego smirked.
Drakken's jaw hung slack.
The massive woman rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Dr. D. Pull it together. We need to fix me. I'll admit that the power is fantastic," she clarified, "but I won't be as good a thief or fighter like this." An idea sprang into Shego's mind, and she grinned. "Hey, what if we could modify that thing to boost my strength, but not my size?"
Regaining his senses at the thought of more mad science, Drakken looked up at her, noticing for the first time that she'd grown about a head taller than him. "Yes, yes... I might be able to do it, but considering that this itself was an accident, it'll probably be difficult..." He dashed off to gather new parts and draw up schematics for the upgraded device.
"Hey, no hurry. I've got time," Shego said, sitting back in her old chair only to have it collapse with a metallic screech under her new weight.
Several hours later, Drakken's cackling drew Shego's attention. "I've done it! At least, I think I've done it!" He waved the new device over his head.
"Well, let's try it out," Shego said as she strode in front of him.
Drakken took aim, set the gun to its proper power level (a new feature he'd just installed), and fired. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
