"No!" You say. "This is all that she gave me and when I came out of the room she too photos of me. She threatened to give the photos to people at my school if I didn't do what she said."
"Felicity." Ms Thompson says. "Give me the camera."
Defeated, Felicity hands over the camera.
Ms Thompson turns it on. "There's no photos."
"I deleted them as soon as I took them." Felicity says. "It was just a joke. I wouldn't really let anyone else see him like that."
"Can I go get changed now?" You ask.
"No, your dinner will get cold." Insists Ms Thompson. The she adds with a giggle. "Plus, you look quite cute in that dress."
"I thought you said a boy was coming to visit?" You hear a voice behind you.
"He is a boy." Ms Thompson answers. "This is Daniel. He and Felicity were just playing dressups."
You turn to see a small girl, about 6 years old.
"Hello Daniel." She greets you. "You look very pretty in that dress."
"Um. Thank you." You can't think of what else to say.
Dinner is soon finished.
"Are you going to play dressups some more?" Sarah asks innocently as you help clear the table.
"I think Daniel has had enough of that for tonight." Ms Thompson says.
"Aww." Sarah complains. "That's not fair. I didn't get to play."
"Come on Daniel." Felicity insists. "You don't want to upset Sarah. Mom can keep the camera if that will make you feel safer."
You don't like the idea but maybe the dress and the photos were just a joke. If so, taking it in good humor will help you and her get along.
