Tork sat there with his hand on his chin thinking. "I wonder if I were to take you to Moonglade..."
"Moonglade?"
"Yes, yes. Essentially it is the holy ground for us druids, you'll find no more sacred place of nature. It would serve as an ideal training ground for you."
He closed his eyes as if envisioning the place in his mind. "Enchanting glowing green fog, trees that have grown so high that you can't even see the sky, and the great city of Nighthaven right on the beautiful Lake Elune'ara."
"Sounds delightful!" chimed Val.
"Oh, I could spend an afternoon explaining the wondrous qualities of Moonglade. But it would be much easier to take you there, would it not?"
"Could we!? Oh...But that's all the way in Kalimdor though, right? It'll take us weeks to get there..."
"Nonsense. I am rested well enough and ready to return. Let us go now."
The night elf raised a palm in the air as if to grasp something. After a few seconds of focusing, he seemed to have grasped something in the air and was pulling on it. An eerie blue light began to emanate from the center of his hand.
"Take my free hand, Flintsocket."
The gnome quietly obeyed and felt herself being yanked forward as if someone was squeezing her through a very tight hole. Time and space seemed to warp past her as she was sent flying forward. The last thing she remembered was landing on something hard...

"...still she shows some promise...I will inspect her when she awakes."
Val groaned slightly and rose from a bed which she had somehow landed in. That's when she realized that she was no longer in the cold comfort of her gnomish home but somewhere far more foreign and nature based.
The bed she was in was mostly made of leaves and bark, but was still oddly comfortable and warm. The room she was in appeared to be some sort of hollowed out stump. She didn't have time to observe all of her surroundings as a tall robed figure appeared in the doorway.
"Welcome, Flintsocket, to Moonglade. You have my thanks for saving my pupil from certain death."
The gnome blushed. "It was no trouble at all...Though I wasn't expecting him to take me to Moonglade in thanks."
The night elf laughed, Val saw that he had a large white beard suggesting an old. "Indeed, young Tork knows how to quickly get around the world. It was why we chose him for his mission. Anyway, I understand you came here to learn. An odd request, especially coming from the younger races."
"Y-Yes, well...I'm determined to study the ways of druidism. If you'd be willing to teach me..."
"Ahhhh, well your first mistake is thinking that being a druid is something you can learn out of a book. It's as much a way of life as it is spells and enchantments. In fact, you'd be right to say it's almost a religion."
"Regardless..." Val said firmly, stepping out of bed to make herself seem determined. "I'd like to be taught, for I'm more than willing to listen."
The old night elf laughed heartily. "Impressive will. Very well, since you've granted us a favor I see it fit as to honor your request. But first you must choose which path you would start on by which being you'd like to learn from..."
"Which being?"
"Indeed, the great spirits of the Bear and Cat, respectively. You will choose whom you wish to learn from first and then we will see if you have the gift."
