"Hi Mark!"
As Mark opened the door he was pleasantly surprised to see his girlfriend, Lara, standing there. She was just as tall as him, blonde, but rather plain looking by most standards. Mark wasn't as bothered by this as most boys his age would be though; after being rejected by so many girls, it was nice to finally have someone for companionship. After spending some time with her, he slowly learned how patient, caring, and understanding she was, and began to feel bad about taking her as a "last resort." A girl like this was too good for that.
Not to say that she didn't have her issues; She was prone to sudden, inexplicable bouts of depression, sometimes to the point of trying to commit suicide, to the fright of Lara's family, and Mark. While her family had found a few supplements to help her, which had proven effective, there were still times where she would become dreary and tired for a couple days. Where those days came, Mark would try his best to comfort her.
Sometime it worked, sometimes it didn't, but either way, it strengthened their bond more. She also had some less serious quirks, as well: she was an active member of the furry fandom, with quite a few paintings and stories about anthro's under her belt. Plus, she occasionally drew picture of herself and Mark as anthros as gifts for him. She even considered herself an Otherkin, a dragon's soul trapped in a human body. Mark found it weird, but he didn't really mind.
A quirk expressing itself now however, was her sweet tooth. While she had been dieting lately, she would still ask Mark for a little candy whenever she saw him with it, and her eyes quickly moved to the bottle. "Dragon pills?" She grinned. "That sounds like my kind of meal. Can I have a few?"
"I'm not sure about that." Mark said as Lara stepped inside and closed the door behind her.
"Oh come on Mark! Two little candies won't kill me." She gave him a big set of "Bambi eyes."
Mark couldn't resist that face. "Oh alright." He handed her the bottle. "But just take two."
"Thanks!" She said, looking over the bottle. "These seem like some pretty overly-sexy mascots for candy." She mumbled, before shaking out two candies and popping them in her mouth.
