21 year old daycare worker, youngest member to your cities largest and most respected daycare's. A typical day that had that same little faces to cheer up while their parents are busy. It was a job that you loved and one day you would hope to have a child of your own. The five floor building that you worked at was nicely kept in good condition and rightfully so seeing how the mayor's son was one of the kids that they took care of.
Now may your twisted story of a life of easy living and smiles plunge into chaos and dismay. Will you be able to find the light at the end of the tunnel or will the horror consume your soul.
Walking into elevator and looking up at the bright rainbow colored ceiling, bringing a smile to your face for you knew that you where about to put smiles on the faces of so many young ones. Pushing the button for the top floor, you was the one placed in charged of that floor and was nicely making a good name for yourself within the building. "Time to enjoy another day of smiles." You spoke softly to your self as you got ready for the long day ahead. "I wish I only had as much energy as these children." You laugh as you are slowly reaching your destination.
As the doors open and everyone turned to see who was getting off you could see a sea of smiles light up on all the children as each one became visible from the sliding doors. "Good morning everyone. Lets have a fun day today." You cheerfully chant and walk off the elevator and walked about making funny faces at the kids.
It was like any other day, reading stories, playing games and making the kids happy. As the day drew later and a few of the kids have left but still many that would of been gone still remained, you seemed bothered by something. A fellow worker said on his break he saw on the tv in the break room that there was a report of riots in the streets. "Don't worry children your parents will be along for you." You called out to break the awkward feeling that was starting to grow from the children. It was now eight pm and a hand full of kids where still there at the most three hours past the normal pick up time. Your shift long over but you stayed with the kids until each one would be picked up.
