"Good gracious, Bobby," Marla exclaimed. "Why on Earth are you dressed like that?"
"I don't know," Bobby blurted out. "When I awoke I was wearing this. All of my clothes are gone too!"
Marla inspected the dresser. Sure enough, all of Bobby's teenage clothes had been replaced with the clothes of a toddler.
"This is certainly strange," Marla said, scratching her head.
Bobby froze. He could feel his diaper growing warmer as he wet it. His lip began to quiver and he could feel himself beginning to tear up.
"Bobby?" Marla began.
"I'm sowwy," Bobby blubbered. "I had an accident."
Marla reached down and felt that the wet diaper. She gave a hug to Bobby and gently rubbed his back.
"It's okay," Marla cooed. "We'll get you cleaned up and dressed, and then we'll figure out what is going on."
Marla led Bobby to a changing table that had appeared during the night. She helped Bobby up onto it and began to undress him. It was quite the sight, a teenage boy being diapered like a toddler. Marla acted as if she had done this routine hundreds of times.
Bobby protested slightly as Marla produced another diaper, but relented when Marla explained that it would help prevent him from having accidents on the floor.
Shortly thereafter, Marla led Bobby down to the kitchen for breakfast. Bobby was dressed as a toddler, and was having trouble walking. He had to take Marla's hand to help keep his balance and to keep up with her.
Marla seemed to be enjoying herself as the morning went on. She seemed more interested in playing with Bobby and acting like his mother than solving the riddle of Bobby's transformation.
Bobby's mind was becoming fuzzier as the day went on. He seemed to be forgetting about his old life. The toys that had appeared were exponentially more interesting than girls and videogames. The Disney cartoons were far more watchable than baseball or hockey.
By the time the afternoon rolled around, Bobby was acting like a true toddler. He even needed to have his diaper changed twice already.
Bobby was exhausted from his busy day as a toddler. As soon as bedtime rolled around he was throwing a tantrum; not because he wanted to stay up, but because he was too tired to know better. Marla changed his diaper and helped him into his pajamas.
Bobby drifted off to sleep while clutching his teddy bear and sucking his thumb.
